FRESH!!
These waffles arrived in perfect condition. They are in a shrink wrap within the metal tin. The metal tin can be used for future purchases of this waffle brand. These waffles are GREAT! The caramel melts nicely when the waffle is placed on top of the rim of a hot cup of tea! The flavor was wonderful!! I look forward to buying this again!!

Love these
I first had these Carmel cookies with the funny name (stroopwafel) when I went to Stockholm. I love them: not too sweet, just a little chewy, and with a delicious flavor. I fell in love. I admit that I was a little skeptical when I saw these on Amazon because I thought they would be stale and tasteless. I was pleasantly surprised at how good they were. Just like in Sweden. I am so glad I bought them.

Bait and switch; buyers beware.
As with other customers, they sent the wrong tin. The tin sent is $9.99 (my picture), the tin I ordered is $11.99. I ordered one of each (because I wantd both designs) and received two of the same (my picture) tins. Save your money and buy the $9.99 tin. No issues with the product itself. Tin is fine. Stroopwafels taste fine.

Packaging
These are my absolute favorite, however, because it is summer in TX, they arrived stuck together. I absolutely love the tin container it came in. Probably need to rethink packaging during summer months.

Not as pictured
The Stroopwafel gets 5 stars for being tasty, fresh, and a perfect size to warm up over a cup of coffee or tea. I really liked the pictured tin. I have one that I refill regularly for the grandchildren. I ordered a second and the tin was completely different. Took off two stars for that. I would not have ordered the tin I received. I will order the pack of wafels again, even though the price has gone up. I wish Daelmans would bring back the pictured version of the tin. It was super cute.
