Empire of Sin: An Enemies to Lovers Romance

Someone please hold me! I don't think my heart and soul are strong enough to handle the excellency that Knox and Anastasia have given to us in Empire of Sin. They came for my neck and now I'm under their chokehold which I don't think I ever want to be free. I can't even find the right words to express how much I love this book. It has exceeded all my expectations! It was everything and more.Empire of Sin was certainly worth the wait. Both of them have always intrigued me ever since they made their appearances in the previous books. It never crossed my mind that Rina would paired these two together, but I'm so glad she did. Knox and Ana are perfect together, especially with their interesting dynamic and amazing chemistry. They're so sexy together, and all their moments stole my heart. I really enjoyed getting into their minds and seeing their development throughout the story. Rina was indeed a genius for being able to write a story so effortlessly that follows the flow of her universe timeline. Everything just made sense if you read all her previous books to connect the dots together.Not to forget that Rina also really spoiled us with the cameos of our favourite characters, especially the RES men and the Bratvas. I was so thrilled when my favourite characters made their appearances in this book. My kindle was flooded with the amount of crumbs I highlighted in every single interaction between the characters. One thing I noticed about Rina, she has the power to make me become obsessed with all her characters because every single character by her makes me want to go down on my knees for them.Anyways, is there a way to erase my mind just to read this story once again like I did for the first time? Even after finishing the book, I still couldn't stop thinking about them. I was totally engrossed with the story where I savoured every single word! I couldn't put it down because the execution of the story was done perfectly with excellent development. It was suspenseful, emotional, and steamy that can make readers so invested. Reading this story is absolutely a fun sexy experience. I really appreciate Rina's effort in giving Knox and Anastasia the book they deserve!

This book felt like riding a roller coaster ride with several ups and downs. I ended the book liking it. It’s a good read. Of course, I’m not gonna deny that I definitely had my bouts of frustration, but I also had some “awe” moments with the occasional “that’s hot” moment. It was well balanced and I found myself invested in the story and if it weren’t for work, I would have finished this book earlier.Chemistry of Knox and Anastasia was only good at first (like not the best but it’s there kind good, if you know what I mean) but it got better as their relationship progressed through the story. I had my bouts of frustration with both of them, not gonna lie, and some of notes might be filled with some choice of words I’d rather not say due to that frustration but I promise you that I liked the story in the end…some of my notes just might seem like it’s the opposite 😆Anyways, story plot was good, and writing was good. I liked it and definitely recommending this to my friends ♥️

Not gonna lie, it took me quite a while to finish this book. Thinking it was partly my brain being a little jarred since I read all of RES and then the Bratva books and this one straddles both series and also partly a slump from how long I’ve been immersed in the RK world. I loooooved Knox and Anastasia though. Their story was truly phenomenal- immaculate spice, humor, a fantastic plot, and of course, cameos from all my favorite characters! Glad I got through this one, and I’m on to LoG now!

Awesome read! Great characters and an emotional, steamy, and utterly engrossing story. Rina Kent is an incredible writer and storyteller. I loved it!

This one was a good book it the series, not great but good. I did enjoy the characters for the most part and the overall story was good.

Only because he is from Royal Elites series which is the first series in this reading order so remembering him after not seeing him for a bit was a laughing moment for me.🖤 So back to Knox. Holy 🥵 Knox. Like he’s a bad 🍑 lawyer with an even darker past. One that carries the shadows with him daily. And who else to break into the shadows with some of her light other than Anastasia - the Bratva princess. One night and both of their worlds collide - she wants one night - but he can’t seem to forget her. So when the IT girl with a completely different look and name runs right into him - he’s hooked. And this right here is what hooked me in.💜 I honestly didn’t like Anastasia in the beginning. She felt very cold and just not how she was in other books where she was warmer and closer to her family especially Rai. It seemed very off to me, which is why I deducted a star because her reasonings for being cold and rude didn’t seem to really make sense. Besides this I loved her and her growth.🖤 Know is hot 🥵 and that’s about all I can say. He gives so many touch her and 💀 vibes that I just couldn’t. It was amazing! Plus this story flows so well you can pretty much devour it!📚

This book is really special, not only is there an epic mashup of characters but it’s done so smoothly, not overbearing & doesn’t take away from the plot or the two main characters of this story.It is a bit disappointing we most likely won’t get to see Damien & Mio’s story, he’s such a loud character.Knox and Anastasia have a love that is intense, raw & all consuming. The passion/chemistry between these two is off the charts & breathtaking❤️‍🔥Both are hiding within themselves and foolishly believing everything will be fine if they can maintain the facade they’ve perfected over the years.* Knox, having a troubled & tragic past has demons that haunt & want to rule his entire being.* Anastasia, the precious mafia princess wants out of the cruel world she was brought up in & to be free.This duo was absolutely perfect, Knox fell so hard for his Anastasia & was the perfect blend of possessive/obsessive.Empire of Sin is dirty & delicious. It packed a punch from the start & maintained a steady pace throughout, a very entertaining read that left me wanting more of them🖤

The entire Empire series so far is absolutely fabulous!I was expecting Knox story since the elite series and Rina didn’t disappoint. Knox is a hunted and addictive guy, his possessiveness and self control is something that gave me the 🔥🔥 everywhere! The steam in this book is out of control and I had to put it down for a minute or two just to breathe a little! It was that thrilling!Now, Anastasia was another welcome surprise, I didn’t have a clue what to expecte from her because in the throne books I couldn’t read her well, but oh boy!This girl is amazing, like really amazing! I felt her suffocated by the life she led, she was already living by their rules and just a pawn, and the burden of having suffered in her early years…. I was heartbroken for her!It was a time in this book that I couldn’t see this HEA coming, I wasn’t seeing possibilities for her and Knox work, but then… our Van doren happened and oh boy, what a finale!!!I love this book so much and being able to see Ethan, Tea, Astor and all the gang, and also my beloved Adrian (🥵), wow!!!

Ich habe das Buch in 24 Stunden gelesen.Sehr gut geschrieben. Unterhaltsam und spannend.Ich mag so ziemlich alle Figuren. Knox ganze Familie und seine Beziehung zu ihnen ist so wubdervoll und witzig. Davon konnte ich nicht genug lesen. 5 Sterne von mir :-)

Consiglio di leggere i precedenti libri, per conoscere un po' i personaggi meglio, ma è un romanzo senza seguito. Anastasia vuole un flirt di una notte e lo trova in Knox. Dopo una notte di passione, decide di cambiare totalmente il tuo aspetto, per scappare dal suo passato. Lei è esperta di informatica, riesce a procurarsi un lavoro in un grosso studio di avvocati, ma scopre che uno dei partner principali non è altro che la sua avventura sessuale.

Anastasia is Russian mafia and has lived in a protective mansion all her life. She decides to sneak out one night to be normal and, in the process, meets Knox in a bar. On sight Knox wants her and when they go up to his room the sex is intense. He is annoyed when she has disappeared the next morning, women dont do that to him. She breaks away from her old life and starts work at a law firm in the IT department. Even though she is disguised he recognises her the minute they get in the lift. Its where he works as a junior partner. The story goes forward with him wanting her more and more and him taking on a case that puts him in danger because the mafia is involved. She protects him by returning to her cage and Knox is having none of that. Its page turning and a good read. Dont read if you dont like bad language and rough sex scenes.
