I bought the 13 Fishing Ghost rod and reel from the Amazon warehouse "like new". Obviously, it was returned originally because it did not work. Amazon did not check the reel before they sold it again. I contacted the manufacturer, 13 Fishing, to ask what they could do to fix the faulty product. They didn't bother to respond to my email, other than to acknowledge they received it. Obviously, they have a bad quality product and bad quality control to identify problems. I caution anyone contemplating purchasing one of their products. Not only the quality is suspect, but their response to a customer problem is " we don't care". I am returning to Amazon so they can sell again to another unsuspecting customer.

I have not used it yet but just put line on it. It didn't take line well. The spool is V shaped and the line likes to build up towards one side or the other.

Needs to be packaged better when mailing. My guides were slightly bent and the pole was scratched a little. I feel the tip of the tickle stick is kinda the star of the show. While it performs mostly as it should it would be nice to see a brace to secure the last 8 inches of the pole tip. I say this because the tip is so sensitive you don't want to have curvature of any kind as mine did. A big selling point for me was the ability to sense both positive and negative bites and the slight curvature takes away from that. This is an otherwise awesome pole/reel combo...but for the steep price of 130$ this could definitely be packaged better. Please don't cheap out on us 13 fishing. You make great gear and I would love to say 20 years from now that all of your products stand the test of time and hold up to their reputation. It ould be a shame to loose good reputation over packaging or customer service.

Excellent ice rod ! I'd suggest soaking the rob bands in hot water to soften them up before trying to stretch them over the rod but other than that it's a great ice fishing rod with built in spring bobber !

I’m concerned I may have gotten a defect I will post picture below. I set up my rod and then noticed that half the rod was flat and at the bottom it turned to the side. I’m wondering if this is a defect and if it should go straight down below the line guides but I wasn’t able to find any information online.
