I thoroughly enjoyed reading this beautiful book. It is very instructive, for children & adults alike. As a retired teacher, I recommend it highly for children of all ages. It has something for everyone, from songs to recipes, to history, folktales, crafts, and holiday traditions in Thailand. It is narrated by two fictional Thai children, in a positive, happy tone, and is fun to read. It makes a good reference book, as well, since the various topics are clearly labeled in the contents. The charming illustrations are bright & colorful, and the book includes many photographs, which add to the authenticity of the work. This is one of the best children's nonfiction books that I have seen!

My 11yr old son was doing a school project on Thailand and this book gave great information and also had recipes to make Thai food! Definitely recommend this book.

Children are captivated by the Thai culture. In this book they are taken on a tour by two Thai children, Mali and Taiwan, and in the process learn about the geography, spiritual beliefs, flora and fauna, crafts and music of the country. Thai vocabulary is introduced and children learn how to prepare some of the delicious food. Making Thai crafts and learning native songs give children an in depth interaction with this enchanting country. It's a perfect addition to classrooms as well as a gift for any child. Since I have visited Thailand, I have the opportunity of talking about my experiences when I'm reading the book to my grandchildren. I wish the book had been available when I was teaching.

This was a gift for my 8 and 10 year old niece and nephew after my trip to Thailand. They had studied about where I was going to visit and followed my fb posts during my visit. This book is written from a child's point of view. It covers all aspects of Thailand but I especially liked how the culture was explored. It even suggests crafts for children to make and songs sung by Thai children. A great overview of the country

Very well done! Lots of beautiful pictures and easy to read articles suitable for my eight years old granddaughter.

Cute book

All About Thailand does an incredible job of covering a broad range of topics about Thailand, allowing the reader to discover interesting facts about elephants, traditional customs, favorite foods, unique places to visit and more. The author's style of having the information narrated through the voice of a young boy and girl is an enjoyable way to discover this wonderful country. The creative, dynamic and lively illustrations complemented the text beautifully. Portraying a respect and love for the Thai heritage and culture, I definitely was left with a desire to visit Thailand when I finished the book. I highly recommend All About Thailand to both children and adults.

Bellissimo libro sulla Thailandia per bambini. Stiamo programmando una vacanza e volevo far conoscere un po' il paese a nostro figlio di 5 anni prima di andare. E' l'unico libro che ho trovato, di questo genere. Bei colori, tante immagini, molte curiosità. Davvero carino. Non ho dato le 5 stelle perché c'è solo in inglese, ma fortunatamente per me non è un problema, tanto il bimbo ancora non sa leggere. Se ci fosse in italiano darei 5 stelle+++
