**Q: I have a light saber i need to check on a flight. Is this durable enough to check?**
A: The pluses about the product are that it is expandable and light weight.  It also has an adjustable carrying strap.  I Use two of them.  One is used for my conducting batons, and the other one for carrying a flute.  However, I've never checked them into a baggage hold on a plane.  If I had to do so, I would line them with foam rubber for extra protection.

**Q: Does the clear end cap piece screw off or pop off?**
A: The solid color top screws off. The clear plastic cap pops off and allows you to slip a business card or similar under as they often start looking all alike.

**Q: What is the actual inside Diameter of the tube? I saw the mention of 3.54 inch diameter but was unclear if that was external or internal measurement.**
A: About 3.34 inch

**Q: What is the inside diameter of the 30-53" model?  External dimension given as 4.72"**
