When I watched the promotional video, it was definitely an eye catcher. I thought I had found the perfect solution to a quick shave and the cordless clipper was a real plus for me. What I noticed the most was how quiet it was in the video! Wow! I want to hire the PR firm who made the video. Their video was very professional…You see a guy having his beard shaved to a shiny smooth face. The sound of the clippers was very quiet. It was what I liked about it and the reason I bought it. I do love the ergonomic design and that I can recharge using a usb port. HOWEVER….My first use of it was a disappointment. Beyond how loud it was, it continually pulled facial hair (a five day old beard).But I thought, “hey, I will register the warranty and contact them about the problems I am having.”They gave me a QR code to shoot from my phone so I would go directly to their website (gaslike.cn) to register. Maybe it was my internet connection on my business iPhone which typically gives me great connectivity. Maybe they were having issues with their site. But after several attempts over about an hour, the only message I received was that the website could not be reached.Am I keeping it? No.I remember the words of my father. “If your first impression is a bad impression, then don’t expect your impression to improve without spending a lot of time and money to repair your reputation.”I have had no success in connecting with the seller to find out if I just got a defective unit.Given my experience thus far, I am expecting the same going forward. Poor product. Poor service. Wasted time.It surprises me that Amazon allows this sort of product to be sold. But then, it doesn’t surprise me. It’s Amazon. 😅

The machine cuts out for no apparent reason, even though the battery indicator is showing the level of the battery charge remaining ( sometimes, 60, 70, 75 % or higher etc).It doesn't run hot, so it's definitely not a case of the machine over heating.This is so frustrating, hence I have to brush/blow out the hair from between the teeth/blade of the machine every 15 seconds or so.P.S my beard is not long, I have coarse hair(I am of African descent) my hair is usually about 5 mm ( less than a quarter of an inch)

If you use the attachments, you have to go over what you are cutting several times in order to get it to cut all the hairs. The teeth on the attachments are too wide, much wider than my old clipper's attachments.

Update, the seller reached out to rectify the situation.The clippers aren't particularly powerful. They will actually cut hair but barely especially on bald heads. They fell apart in my travel bag that I wasn't throwing around then I had to figure out how to put it back together. That took an hour. Then they completely broke on a short fall. All of this happened within 2 weeks. I wouldn't recommend these to anyone despite the price or how they look.
