Learning to live your faith
I loved this book most because it teaches about how sometimes our faith in God can sometimes seem lost during the worst of times or even what should be the best of times. Yet our Abba, Father is always there for us, even if for a time to our broken hearts, He seems far off. I enjoyed the book for the most part, but would have appreciated full closure with the bad guy Reynoso, either him accepting Jesus as his Saviour or found deceased. I really hope there are no plans to bring him. I really don't like books where the bad guy is there book after book tormenting people.

Love this book
This book is engaging, romantic, spiritual, mysterious and suspenseful all in one. It grabs your interest right away, with surprising plot twists and likeable characters. I found it was hard to put down. The faith aspects of the story are deep and true, so thoughtfully written. The crime mystery elements keep you hooked. I feel it would be a wonderful read for book groups. The north country setting in itself is wild and romantic, and nature becomes a huge part of the action. The love story that unfolds will touch your heart and leave you wanting more. But don't worry! Book 2 is coming soon! And ladies, it's not just for you. My hubby loved it too!

gripping Christian romantic suspense
The action starts from page one. This is outside my usual genre so didn't know what to expect. Amazing descriptions of Boundary Waters area, medical treatments, and beautiful sewing with beads to build a world I understood... one where it's not all sweetness and light, evil exists and people are purposely hurt, and we see people coming to God. I usually don't read suspense books or Christian fiction, and I could not sleep after reading this as I processed the suffering that the characters experienced over and over through the book. Could have condensed the photo album chapters in the middle. They were lovely, but it interrupted the otherwise non-stop pacing and made me think the book was drawing to a close when it was not; there was more scary stuff and more desperation to come. (I'm not used to reading on Kindle so I didn't notice how many pages were left.)

Excellent Read
If you like to read, I highly recommend this book, written by Joy Harding, a nice Christian friend of a friend. It's one of those books you start reading and suddenly realize it's 2 am and you still really don't want to stop reading (True, I did that last night 😆). It's faith based fiction, my favorite kind of book.

Can’t wait to read the rest of the series.
Not the kind of book I usually read. But it was given to me by a good friend and I read it in record time. I found the authors careful use of scripture and music to be inspiring.Weaving a story of romance, spiritual journey, action and the natural beauty of northern Minnesota the author did a great job of creating a page turner. I can’t wait for the next one.
