One of the best fountain pens money can buy. Incredible value.
This pen is the same size as an M400, but the nib is stainless steel instead of 14K, so the price is more affordable, but it's still the same incredible engineering. And here's a secret: the business end of their nibs are tipped with iridium (or perhaps a similar metal), whether it's gold or steel, so both nibs write just as well! And these are superb writers, and the piston filler always works flawlessly. I own over a dozen fountain pens including a Montblanc, a Sailor 1911, and a couple of Duofolds, and the Pelikans are my favorites. They're just such good pens. They are a little on the wet side, so they work exceptionally well with Pelikan inks, which are a little on the dry side, but still well lubricated.
