Two containers are separated with silicone sealing top which holds 😍little fork😍, topped withe lid that clips onto the top of lower container. I hand wash so the design is unsurprisingly unharmed. Make sure the silicone lid is affixed properly before attempting to snap close the top. Double, maybe triple check that the top’s drop down arms have in face clicked into place on the lower container. Both properly cited and goo to go. I have not put liquids in and don’t recall if it is recommended. Once lids are secured in place though I had no issue with bits coming out or the lid slipping off or anything. Did well sitting or bouncing about until used. I have two of these and both containers are black ani mix them up with no fit issue. If you have separate uses you may want to mark their initials or something. Materials seem to me a much higher quality than I had anticipated, not at all flimsy. You could take just the lower/larger container with silicone lid in place, but be mindful of what you do with it until use, same does not work with the top/smaller container as it’s lid is designed to clip onto the lid of larger container beneath it. When not in use this nestles well for storage. I just keep this with granola/snacks instead of with the other storage container as it is great for a quick grab & out the door.

A bit small. I knew buying this it was going to be small. I read the reviews and the product description and had an idea. The size isn't bad for a kid as it's a child's bento box. I've seen complaind is its size but the description is there for you to read. Now ontonthw bento box. It is cute and the perfect size for small kids. It is partially leak proof and not. So the top portion isn't leak proof but the bottom is with the inner lid. The inner black lid is rubbery, you just have to make sure it's sealed tightly. Another cool thing is that you can single stack this with the inner lid and top lid and clamp it closed. There is texture in the 2 food portions to help keep food from slipping around which is nice. It also doesn't feel flimsy and cheap. It might break if you are way to rough with it as can happen with anything expensive or cheap.
