What a difference.
I have a 2008 Chevy Silverado and it still looks great... except for the original headlights. I have cleaned them many times and I just needed to replace them. They're a little awkward to replace if you haven't done it before on a Silverado of that style but there are plenty of videos on YouTube. I've had to replace the headlight wiring harnesses before so once you've done it its a piece of cake. I also went with LED low and high beam lights. These are the LEDs I bought on Amazon and are using with my headlights https://a.co/d/0XSO2Ru
