Q: Can I manually move the wings by hand inside puppet?

The hand pocket is in the body of the puppet so the wings move only slightly. That said my grandson moves the wings from outside. He loves the puppet and has no difficulty creating story lines manually tipping the wings as the eagle sails through the air. His first hand puppet and, still his favorite.

Q: Is the puppet washable or only surface washable?

It is surface washable only. The manufacturer recommends using a damp cloth to wipe the surface but it can not be put it a washing machine.

Q: Does this puppet make a sound?

It does not make a sound. Some of the Folkmanis puppets have buttons to push, but this one does not.
