My daughter watched the YouTube version of this, and she said she had to have the book! Another great story from Mac Barnett!

Grandson loved it

This is a great beginning to a series. I read the first book with my kids just to make sure that it's appropriate for their reading level. My 9yo son LOVES it. My 6yo enjoys it, but has trouble with some of the words/concepts. This is solid work from Mac Barnett. I laughed out loud at several parts of the story and my kids were anxious to continue.The art by Shawn Harris is truly exceptional. The best part of an already great book. The characters really come to life and the stylized coloring is incredible.Overall, a great book along the lines of some of Dav Pilkey's works. I highly recommend it if your kids are into that.

I bought this for my 9 year old grandson. He couldn't put it down. He took it to school and his friends passed it around the classroom.

Our kids (8 and 11) adore this book! The illustrations are fantastic, storyline clever- they pick it up to read over and over again.
