I love that it's a real fresh copy of the movie .

I have to admit, going into watching this movie, I had my reservations. I had previously read a lot of negative reviews on it, but I tend to not ever pay attention to them for movies.I was pleasantly surprised with this film.The movie is about ten early twenty's year olds who head out to a cabin in the middle of the woods to celebrate one of the girls' birthdays. One by one, they all begin to disappear, and it's up to the remaining friends to figure out what's going on before they're next.First off, I found some of the dialogue to be hilarious, particularly Alexis Fields' lines. She basically just says everything everyone watching the movie is thinking and it made me like her character a lot.Secondly, the suspense and mystery begins only about twenty minutes into the movie, so you're left for the last hour and 20 minutes waiting to find out what happens next, which I found to be pretty enjoyable. Since the movie is so long, it's not fast paced at all and everything is done in a very timely manner which you don't see too often in horror movies especially nowadays.Also, the acting was actually pretty good, and I found myself following the characters and what was going on more so than laughing over the acting of them, which happens so much nowadays in horror movies.If you're a hardcore gore hound, this movie isn't really for you. There's only about seven deaths, most of which are not gruesome at all. There are about two or three deaths that might be hurtful to the eye (one includes a character's ear being slowly cut off).The only negative thing I have to comment on is the ending. It's basically left open for the viewer to come up with what exactly happened. You will have a few questions once the credits start rolling, but none that make you think the movie has been ruined.All in all, it was a pretty good horror flick for what it was. If you're into mystery, suspense, horror and occasional gore, this is a movie for you. It's definitely worth checking out.

i wasn't expecting anything from this at all. i just wanted to watch something that had a little bit of suspense and scares in it. it had a bit more than that as the deaths were a bit much other folks might want to be wary of those. the story while nothing really special serves it's purpose. I can see why "Somebody.." was a DVD release and might be best watched via rent first. But check it out for yourself and then decide after that. Nothing spectacular or anything, but better than a lot of crap i've seen recently...also leaves it open for a sequel.

Seems like I have reviewed this movie, but I'm being asked to review it. It was rather silly, but it was full of suspense and mini chills. I rate movies by how I enjoy them, not the oscar worthiness of them. They have the second one out also which was a little more tense and a little more silly.

I liked this movie. It definitely had a more unique feel to it than alot of horror films. Four and half stars : )

This movie was awful. There was no character build-up or background. The plot development was TERRIBLE. No true back story on the killer....just...bad.

I watched this film with a few friends and we had a good laugh at it.It has every tired old cliche in the book, parodied by the likes of scary movie...eg: the car wont start, the town experienced similar events a few years ago but its kept quiet, the killer walks very slowly but somehow catches his victims and covers an enormous amount of ground in a short space of time, a house party with over amourous kids, pathetic police force who refuse to take things seriously until its too late etc etc...the only thing it didn't have was the house they were staying in wasn't built on an indian burial ground...but you can bet if the writers had remembered that one, it would have been there.but the construction and dialogue is so appalling and uncreditable, that it is actually very funny.. the reasons for splitting up are comical... for instance the two girls who are left alone for about 5 minutes, split up because one of them needs to go to the toilet lol...the policeman, who presumably has a gun? is told by the sheriff to keep the two boys in the police station, but he lets them go after they say they will beat him up if he doesn't! I don't want to spoil it too much, but the killer is walking around with what looks like alot of cellotape on his face...for some unknown reason...lolfor unintentional comedy value 4/5 for horror value 1.5/5 (the extra 0.5, only because there is a few gross scenes carried off quite well)

Not bad..i liked the gruesome killer doing his cuttings etc lol..So was the little girl a ghost ? Wasnt sure..the killers mask was creepy..so it could carry on for a sequel, but i think i will give it a miss lol

pretty standard video fare really, seen it all before, kids in peril etc. However, that is not the fault of the vendor. Video quality good, packaging good, delivery good.

I DONT KNOW WHY THEY BOTHERED TO MAKE THIS FILM THE ACTING WAS ABSOLUTE CRAP THE STORY LINE WELL THERE WASNT ONE RUBBISH!!!!!!!!
