Installed the new sensor vehicle won't even start now. Reinstalled old sensor that was having issues vehicle starts and idles. Would not recommend spend the money and get a MOPAR

Junk, Junk, Junk, Junk, Junk, Junk, Junk, Junk, Junk, Junk, Junk, Junk. Almost installed b4 realizing the magnet, which should be nothing less than a quality rare earth neodymium one, was defective. It had ZERO magnetism. Even the original 21 year old sensor had almost the same magnetic power as the new Mopar one I jut installed today. For the past few years, the original one actually still worked for about 20-30 minutes/cool engine down for 45/work for 20-30/ cool down for..., etc.. There was only one of three harness terminals that was corroded which may have been the reason it was failing. Do not ever install these type of sensors b4 simply checking magnetism. It makes no sense to take a chance on using weaker magnetic materials. The magnetic field is the most important function in the crank sensor. The algorithm used by the processor needs the MAGNETIC field reading to determine critical engine function. In this case, the speed of the flywheel bolted to the crankshaft to determine timing and fuel/air values.

Worked for about 1/2 mile when it warmed up then sensor quit . Pure junk

Purchased and went through the trouble of installing only for the sensor to be no good! Jeep would barely run with it. Went to parts store and paid $59 for it and jeep runs prefect now! Attached is a video of what it did with this sensor installed.

Ordered 2 and both don't work junk out of box would not recommend or even attempt to tell anyone to buy this product junk Chinese items
