Kate is an awful human being and so is helen. How they have treated emilia is awful and downright disgusting. Carter should have stuck up for emilia more instead of trying to blackmail her into staying. I’m so sad for emilia she constantly has to be the one to give up everything she has to appease other people. I hope she gets her happy ending she deserves it!

I love this book. It is so engaging and I can't get enough of Carter and Emilia. It would have nice to see how Kate was feeling once Emilia left and how Carter dealt with his family with Emilia gone, but nonetheless this is a wonderful read.

In this second instalment, the college years, Carter and Emilie become official. The fallout is hideous with Kate being the spoilt brat that she is, she manages to smash them apart. I did get annoyed with Carter, he should have stood up for Emilie to his sister and mother. They all invited a lonely little girl into their family, became all the love and care she needed and then they all push her away when none of the mess is her fault. No doubt they will have their hea, but I‘m not sure that Carter deserves Emilie. Off to get the next book.

This was my first time reading this particular genre of book and the author did not disappoint. The book was absolutely incredible - I read all three books in around 2/3 days because I just could not put them down.The story was excellently written and not the normal ‘boy meets girls and they love HEA’ - the story had great ups and downs, lots of passion and charisma in the characters and really captured my heart and mind.Highly recommend these books and author!

This is the 2nd book in the trilogy of Emilia and Carters love story. And it did not disappoint. After the end of the 1st book when Carter left for college. They finally reunite at college and the chemistry is still off the charts between them. The end of this book left me heartbroken and I literally sobbed. Absolutely brilliant

After reading the first book, I just had to start the next book straight away. Oh my god, the tears I cried with this book. I really felt for both Emilia and Carter in this book. I just couldn’t understand why his family couldn’t be happy for them.This series is fast becoming one of my favourites. I love the comedy, the romance and the cuteness.
