In person is much more mirror-like and chromey. Pictures do not do it justice!At first I put it on a few days old application and wasn’t impressed. It was glittery. BUT when I put on a freshly done set- POW the glitter pieces disappeared and I got a better effect. Super reflective high metallic. Exactly what I was looking forFollow instructions. Use finger to rub after sponge. I put two layers of the powder and no wipe top coat; i.e. twice after a base, double color coat and initial top coat. It’s worth the extra effort.Will show every bubble and lump - it’s the nature of this type of finish (think getting chrome done on a motorcycle or car) so perhaps it’s nicer on acrylics or builder gel to smooth out the surface. My pics are on natural nail.

Came in a screw top container which I really appreciate because I’ve gotten powders from other vendors in tiny zip baggies which are hard to open without wasting some powder. Also came with two double sided eyeshadow applicators which, to me, is the best tool to use to apply it. Silicone tools don’t seem to work as well for me, despite the fact that they’re easy to clean and are may waste a little less product. The powder looks great. Wish it was a little less expensive but I’m okay with the price for how well it worked. I used a gel base coat (then cured), then three coats of a dark gray gel polish (curing between each layer, obv), then a no wipe, gel top coat (cured), then buffed on the powder with an eyeshadow applicator, followed by another layer of the no wipe gel top coat (cured once more). Came out great and I can only assume that it would look even better over black. In my experience the chrome really looks best over the no wipe top coat rather than the colored polish. Over the colored polish it looks more like a glitter effect than a mirror effect. Also a little goes a long way. Enough powder here for at least 30 more manicures, if you’re careful not to waste or spill it. I can’t say how it’d look over regular polish, as I only use gel polishes, but my guess is that it wouldn’t work as well. I would recommend this powder.
