Easy Peasy Backpacking Stove!!!
The media could not be loaded. Man, this little titanium stove is “5 by 5” all the way — not a single thing wrong with it or worthy of complaining about, at all! As I’ve just shown in my (first ever) video, it’s about as simple and straightforward a setup as anyone could possibly ask for, and with a little practice, could easily be done in dim light in under 30 seconds, as is the case with so many of this style of twig stoves. And for ease of use, what could be simpler than “here’s the hole... stick your sticks in it and hold a lit match underneath”?If there’s one common shortcoming that all of these stoves (regardless of which name brand they’re wearing) have in common, it’s that there are an awful lot of single wall stainless steel water bottles than can’t be used on them, because the stove’s mouth is larger than the bottle’s diameter. A quick and easy fix for this can be made in just a few minutes by cutting 3-4 5’ long pieces of coat hanger wire and bending them as shown in the first photo, then sliding them into place, as shown in the second.

Lightweight & easy
I've used a firebox nano for years. This is better.

Air flow not good when use alcohol stove.
Air flow not good when using alcohol stove. Also missing center cross stand make it unusable with smaller cups.

So tired of false advertising and poor manufacturing
I ordered the larger version of this “titanium” folding stove. It is advertised as weighing 188g/6.63 oz. As you can see in the picture, it actually weighs 10.1oz(287g). If I weigh only the outer part, no ash tray, alcohol burner tray, or pot holder, then it weighs 191g...but also can’t be used. I am not sure this is actually titanium. The other issue is that one side of the pot holder is not completely cut out, so it sits at an angle on the top of the stove. This makes it useless. So frustrating, as poor quality control/inaccurate information seems to be a common theme

Light and fun...
The media could not be loaded. This is a fun little titanium stove. I say fun, not to indicate that it can't serve as an effective stove, but because it's so light and so tiny packed up that it doesn't really seem much more than a toy. But it is! It is an effective little stove. I got it as a secondary stove to take on trips along with my MSR WhisperLite that I will use for primary heating of water and cooking. This will be a spare, and maybe a coffee maker when the main stove is working on breakfast.I got this to use as a wood (twig and tinder) burner. It's not able to fit bigger wood, but it will burn little pieces of wood voraciously with the draft from below providing a strong flame. I didn't get this to use with a Trangia alcohol burner, but the upper deck of the stove with the round hole in it is made to hold such a burner (you can find one here: https://www.amazon.com/Trangia-Spirit-Burner-with-Screwcap/dp/B000AR7970).If you use it with an alcohol burning element like the Trangia, this becomes basically little more than a stand for cooking on. But there are better Trangia stands out there. Use this with wood and it comes into its own. Now you will notice in the video I've included that the stove hasn't been used. No soot. But I've used others just like it and I know what to expect. The benefit of this stove is the strength and light weight of the titanium. It's a wonderful little wood burner.

Nice, lightweight stick stove.
I like how quick and easy it is to assemble this little stick stove. I tested it out in my backyard on a cold and windy day without an additional windscreen. While I had to use a fire starter, I was able to heat up a can of beans in 10 minutes. When using sticks as fuel, you do have to constantly be feeding more sticks in to keep the fire going, but there is the option to add an alcohol burner, which I plan to purchase next. Overall, I am quite pleased with this stove and look forward to using it again!

It’s tiny!
This camp stove folds up into a package small enough to fit in your pocket. It can burn wood materials, but it may work better with the tins of gelled alcohol. I use it to smudge (burn) egg carton pieces as a mosquito deterrent.
