Great controller for those who want to get away from the Joycon controllers. In my case, my kid sprayed cleaner on my switch so the joycons no longer connect when in handheld mode. That being said, there is some confusion concerning this grip. It is WIRELESS in the since that there are no wires, however, it connects to the switch screen via the charging port, therefore in order to make the controller work you have to go into the switch settings and check the box that allows WIRED controllers to be used. Basically it’s a wired controller that is formed around the switch screen and runs off the switch units power. Pros: Great controller, good feel, does not need to charge independently, does what it’s supposed to. Cons: might run battery down faster on switch, makes your switch HUGE, won’t fit in normal case, joystick was a little tight till broken in. UPDATE: I’ve been using this controller for several months now and it’s still working great! Found a case that would fit it, pictured, and have traveled across the US with no issues whatsoever. If it drains the battery any faster than the joy ones I can’t tell. Awesome controller with great feel.

Far more comfortable than standard Joy-cons for those with larger hands. Retains switch securely and only requires enabling wired communication in the settings menu as the controller is not actually wireless. The up side to that is it does not need charging, although it has a pass through port to charge the switch while it’s attached. The case is well-designed to retain all necessary items with storage for joy-cons and an 8 cartridge game case in addition to a zipper pocket for cables and charger. The flap intended to protect the screen also includes game storage options. Well worth the money for the combination.

This product has come in clutch on many occasions. I have multiple jobs, so I can't play my Nintendo Switch on the television. With this product, I never worry about my Switch getting broken. The case is well made and keeps the products inside safe. Also, the grip is excellent. I never had my hands cramp or anything with this. Also, the buttons are responsive and clicky. I highly recommend this product if you play your watch more handheld.
