Improved NV HOLDERS 2.0, with improved clasps; premium shirt stays, shirt holders, shirt garters, shirt tuckers for men

I have been on the fence about trying shirt stays for several years. Growing up, the only alternative method to shirt-tucking I knew of was suspenders. When I entered the professional field, I heard whispers and rumors of shirt stays - but I was never convinced. However, once i lost 50lbs from a diet, I desperately needed a solution to my tucking problem! Once I lost my "dad-bod", my shirts slipped out from my pants CONSTANTLY. Working in an environment where professional appearance is important, I was ready to try anything. Doing my research, the original NV Holders kept coming up in articles I was reading when exploring the best options. I saw plenty of reviews and testimonials praising these products. However, several things concerned me and gave me pause. 1. I did not want to spend $40 on the product and 2. I saw many reviews talking about the same problem - loose clamps and visible evidence of their use through pants. When I saw that they solved these issues with version 2.0, I figured i'd give it a try! Packaging: Product arrived in one of those padded amazon bags. For this product, this worked just fine. No damage or delays in transit. Product: The shirt stays arrives in a bag with a carrying case. The elastic material feels very strong to the touch and has a lot spring back when pulled. The clamps are made of metal, and stay tightly secured. Instead of "teeth" like suspenders has, they have a flat metal clasp. The side of the stays sport the companies logo. Fit/feel: Trying them on and adjusting them properly was slightly awkward at first. But the stays DID stretch out after several uses. The shirt stays have three bands - two for the front of the shirt and one for the back. When you first put them on, you can certainly feel them around your thighs. However, after about 30 minutes you'll forget they are even there. Finding the correct position on the thigh both vertically and laterally was a bit tricky. However, the stay bands do have adjustments on them, allowing for several different positions to all work the same. The stays are not visible even through my thinnest work pants. The end result: Day one with the stays: i was AMAZED! My shirt stayed tucked the entire 12 hour shift at work. Recently losing weight, I did have pants/shirts that were slightly larger than my body type needed. The shirt stays allowed the shirt to stay tucked and remained shapely on my body. Because of this, I got MANY compliments and comments about how I looked at work! I have since been wearing them 3-4 times a week. My only complaint is that sometimes, if they are adjusted too tightly, the clamps will unclasp. Unless you have access to the bathroom, you can feel the loose strap flailing around in your pants. Beyond that, i have no complaints with the product. Final thoughts: If you are on the fence about this product, let this review be the change to get you to make the jump. Even if you don't buy THIS product, I highly suggest trying shirt stays in general. They will change the way you feel in the clothes you already own, and give you the boost in confidences that your shirt is going to stay EXACTLY where you want it. I have been wearing these for several weeks and have had three separate friends order them. In fact, i was best man in a wedding recently. I ordered some for all the groomsmen. After a day of photos, speeches and dancing, not a single shirt was found to be untucked or out of place. My tucking problem was solved! 5/5 would buy again.
