Worked like a charm
Bought this for my John Deere E100 lawn tractor. It fit perfectly. It came with a wiring harness but I did not use it since the wiring harness on my machine plugged right up to it. It was less than half the price the JD dealership quoted me. I would recommend this part to anyone needing a replacement.

The solenoid fit perfectly
The solenoid works perfectly. The wiring harness was NOT an exact match (the original connected from the solenoid to a six wire harness, whereas the new one is a two wire solo connector) - but the existing harness fit the new solenoid, so that really wasn't a huge issue. I used the new unit for about two months with nary a problem.Once I knew what the problem was, took about an hour to take off the old one and replace it. So much less expensive than having a technician do it for me!

Ordered to replace solenoid on John Deere E100
The package included a new wiring harness, but it was not an exact match of the one on the mower. I was able to replace the solenoid using the existing wiring and it is working fine so far.
