I originally bought this for my 15 month old. When it came in my 4 year old wanted to play with it. I thought it would be a great star projector at night time but it ends up being a great toy during the day too. Both kids love to carry it around and the buttons are colorful and big so they are easy to maneuver for both of them. My 4 year old loves the flashlight feature and my 15 month old loves all the music and lights. Even though the star projector does not move, the lights fade in and out and change colors which give it a lot of interest for the kids to look at. I also like how you can choose to just play the sound, just use the projector, or use both at the same time. There is an option to turn the sound on or off but there is only one volume level so at night we use a quiet sound machine and just the projector lights from this toy as a nightlight. The kids love it so I may have to buy another so they each have their own!

I have 2 toddlers, & they both really enjoyed this toy. My 4 year-old loves the planet light & is into anything that lights up in the dark. It didn’t keep her attention for long but it did for my 18-month old. He loves carrying it around & asks me to turn the lights off so he can shine the projector on the walls or ceiling. The lullabies & calming nature sounds it makes aren’t annoying like some kids toys. It could be used as a bright nightlight but it’s more of a toy. It’s a great gift for younger toddlers.

This is such a special night light for our son. I like that it turns off after 15 minutes or so, so it can help him fall asleep. We had to explain to him that it would turn off so he wouldn't yell for us when it was off, but that was solved quickly. The songs switch when you push a button, and the projection is pretty clear on his ceiling. He doesn't hold it in his bed because the music is pretty loud.

Our baby loves this toy, she turns off lights in rooms just to shine it around. We are actually in our second one now. The first lasted about a year, but after hundreds of drops something has to break.My complaint is that the projection only works with the volume in high setting. And although it has a mute button, there’s no low volume setting. Would love to have a low volume setting option.

We got this projector to help our almost 3 year old sleep better. Our daughter doesn’t like dark and we were looking for a fun night light. We love this one, the best part is it’s soothing lullabies and nature sound along with the beautiful projection. It’s light weight and very easy to handle too. My daughter loves it as a toy too, she says it’s her personal spaceship.
