This book is very useful and inspiring. It shows the possibilities you have to use a lot of items usually seen as trash in a different way. Use your imagination to give new meaning to all the things you plan to junk. This way you can save money and do something for the environment. It covers topics like dressers drawers, pallets, tires, teapots, skateboards and a lot more items and gives directions how to utilize them in a different way. Highly recommended!

What a great little book about taking old things and making them into something new. So, instead of taking that old dresser to the dump, we can convert it into a TV cabinet or a wine bar or a pet bed, or take and old drawer and redo it as a cat playground or a communication center. Kitty Moore, the author gives us the step by step process to do just that by listing materials and giving directions for each project.

I bought this as a gift for my mother, she is one of the Trash to Treasure people. Awesome book. Very creative and fun ways to use items I would normally throw away. Great for exploring new ways to use old products. Everything you need to create these simple yet useful items is already in your home! Best way to recycle that I've ever seen.

As they say there's a lot of treasures in our trash, very indeed true because if people would only recycle and segregate their trash usable items or materials can be saved and it also helps save our mother earth. This book was an eye opener nudging me that its about time to start recycling now, with all the given tips and the DIY easy to follow instructions its like your creative juices are coming and flowing out of you in order to create a lovely piece coming from your junks or trash. Though Id like it more if the pictures or images was already available on the page just to give the readers an idea of the finish product and at the same time seeing the fruit of your labor is very inspiring and motivating, but nevertheless I still love how Moore was able to come up with these brilliant ideas and has provided a lot of inventive concepts that are usable in your own home. This is a must book for every home. not only it promotes recycling it also enhance ones ingenuity and broadens imagination and resourcefulness of one person. Great read.

It is so amazing how trashes and old household materials can still be profitable if only we can be a little creative and innovative. This book is a useful guide on how can we turn our trash into treasure. As I browse on the different pages and study the procedures of each piece of crafts, I am amazed of the numerous possibilities our used, torn, damaged and old household materials be converted into something new and useful piece or thing in the house. This book does not only help us utilize trashes and benefit from them but also help our environment as a whole. Great job to the author!

No pictures! Gimmicky freebie marketing nonsense with links to more and more, "You can get this too!" NEVER actually found the photos this "book" shouldn't be sold as a book it is impossible to just look at this on your Kindle or e-reader devise. I was quick to delete it off my Kindle and was not happy to have my time wasted on this sham!

It is quite an amazing coincidence to find a book just when I need something to have my books arranged in my place. Actually, I need a bookcase or bookshelf and I am planning of getting one or have it fabricated. But when I read this book, I learn that there is a way to turn my old drawer into a bookshelf. I feel excited about this and I am planning now to have that bookshelf fabricated by simply following the instructions written in this book. Aside from this, there are a lot of other crafts that can be made out of old and discarded materials. You might as well be considering of having your own simple projects and this book can be of great help.

It suggested a lot of ways to make old things seem new and revive its purpose, and that is impressive. I think this book is also trying to promote conserving furniture and objects usually seen as 'useless mess' in the house. House friendly I would say. It's just that most of the suggested ways to turn trash to treasures were the ones that I already did - simply, the usual. I would like to see more, and know more - the more interesting and creative ones.

If I can find it I will review it

I ordered this for my friend who is a keen craft maker, but when I received the book, it contains no pictures as described, but every page says 'click here' with a hyperlink. It's obviously taken from an web enabled book as (as silly as it sounds) YOU CAN'T CLICK A PAPER BOOK! I contact the author via her blog and she said that the book was supposed to be like that and fobbed be off with links to online images. Don't waste your money.

Lots of great ideas. Some old and some new. Pictures of all the great finished products would have enhanced the book and fueled the imagination. For this reason, I gave three stars.
