The workmanship and finish of this item were excellent. I thought it was a bit expensive but would not hesitate to purchase again.

Perfect
Needed this stand for a wooden Buddha statue. Well constructed but a little pricey. Would buy again however if the need arises.

Smaller than you think.
I have mixed thoughts on this piece, but to fully explain I need to provide more details on why I “needed” it. My wife recently returned from an estate sale where she purchased a sliver of a tree trunk. She was awfully proud of herself and she said it was absolutely stunning. As someone who owns three chainsaws and 70 acres, I couldn’t quite share her excitement… nor her enjoyment at her newest estate sale find. To be fair, the wood is nice, but so is the three tons of firewood that I split and stacked this spring getting ready for the winter burning season. Anyway, she paid for it, she loves it, and she wanted to display it. Evidently sitting it on its side is not acceptable so I was told to get a stand. Enter this product.This product is true to its dimensions, though it is still shockingly smaller than I thought it would be – especially considering the price. Further, in a previous job I spent a great deal of time working with archeologists on antiquities, so I am familiar with museum quality and this stand, while not cheap feeling and quite functional, has discernably less quality in its construction.It will work, and it now proudly displays the purchased sliver of wood my wife paid for, but considering the thinness of the material and the price point, it’s a 4-star performance for me.

Very sturdy, and you don't have to drill through your whole piece to mount
I searched the web for days for the right stand with no luck. This is the only stand without a 12" rod. Works great, but a bit pricey.

Metal base with pin
The base is a little small for my purposes and I wish the pin was a little larger as well. It otherwise it’s ok

great simple stand
This made a simple piece of antique wood-block into a little sculpture. Love it. Wish I had done this years earlier
