A Really Fun Read
I was really looking forward to receiving my book in the mail and it felt like Christmas when it arrived. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about the life Of Don Knotts and the other people mentioned in this book. It was refreshing like an oasis from all that has been going on today. This was an easy read and I look forward to revisiting this book sometime soon. I highly recommend this book. It is one of my favorites.

Great memory of Don Knotts
I love learning more about the artists I love & when it comes from a spouse or child, it is special indeed. What a wonderful tribute to her dad.

Hard to follow
The book was informative and interesting. However it was hard to follow at times. She bounced around, sometimes while in the middle of one story she would start telling other stories. She also used a lot of pronouns which made it hard to keep track of who was saying what.I love Don Knotts so enjoyed her insight. I just had to do a lot of rereading to keep things straight.

Disjointed
I really tried to like this book but I found it difficult to enjoy. The actual storylines were not easy to follow. The author's thoughts were incomplete and didn't always present a clear picture for the reader.

Before you read this..Nip It !
I’ve tried and tried to enjoy this book. I’m a Boomer do the character of Barney Fife was iconic to me. You would expect a book by the daughter of Don Knotts to be a joyful, sentimental read. But is a jumbled collection of random memories and short anecdotes; many of which are bland or disjointed. Don’t expect a majority of the book to be about Mayberry either. How can you write about the classic sitcom The Andy Griffith Show and not mention Floyd the Barber; Howard McNear ! Much of the book is about the author and her personal struggles. She apparently has a one woman show based on the book that one patron described as ‘pathetic and sad’ … the book is along the same lines..sadly.
