Buffalo Horn knife
Beautiful knife. Buffalo handle did not disappoint. Blade came extremely sharp, just needed little stroping to smooth out edge. I’m not crazy about the sheath, but it works good. I like the old style.

Great knife
Purchased as gift for my son the Case knife with the horn handle. It has great fit & finish, blade holding its edge have not had to sharpen yet with lots of use. Made in USAVery happy!

New Case Was Worth the Wait!
I bought this knife a few months ago when it first became available and I have had it by my side ever since. The first thing you'll notice is the superb Case craftsmanship and attention to detail. This knife echoes the quality of the past however this is all in a day's work for Case. The sheath fits the knife securely and putting it on your belt there is no looseness or wiggle. I feel confident that it won't get in the way or fall out when I'm outdoors. Note that the number of jigs on your handle may vary considerably. Mine for instance has only a few small jigs and is otherwise smooth. The color scheme is really nice. The red, black, and white spacers are also separated by brass spacers. I have to admit it was the pommel that sold this knife to me. I liked the mushroom cap as opposed to the regular down turned pommels found on other Cases. In the handle the grip is thick and generous. No slip or wiggle. I am going to be using this knife extensively in the future for backpacking and other backcountry pursuits. The weight is not bad so I think it would be worth bringing it along on a thru-hike. It can be of great use in an emergency.I had already owned a Case Russlock and Copperlock and had wanted a fixed blade for a while. Finally Case came out with a new model like this black beauty. You will see that this knife is marked up so that you can tell the year in which it was made and the exact model and handle it has are all marked on the tang. So if you found the blank blade somewhere you would know exactly what handle to get for it. That's what I love about Case. They go the extra mile. I am proud to own an American product that means business. You should feel confident that you are helping the American dream by purchasing a Case knife. Thanks to all the hardworking cutlers at the Bradford, PA factory we can still hold traditional and timeless cutlery in our hands.

Case quality has gone down.
Knife came with a good edge and a mirror polish and the Buffalo Horn was a nice piece.. but the spacers have rough edges and the sheath is not lined up to let the knife easily go in. It's not the quality that Case used to be known for.

Arrived in Mint Condition
Shipped and arrived in mint condition. No blemishes on blade and Buffalo Horn handles had no defects. Sheath well made and stitching appears to be perfect. Recommend this seller highly

Sheath is kind of crappy
Got this for someone as a present. The sheath won’t stay buttoned. They made an excuse saying all sheaths that actually come with knives suck and he’d buy a different one for it. For the amount of money it is the sheath should be nicer. Wish it was a softer leather. Super stiff. Loved the knife though.

A must have for a collection..or a working tool for a dad..
Beautiful almost a sin to use..but this was a gift for my father to wear on his side to use on the farm to cut...I could see in his eyes he appreciated it so much it probably won't see the outside again...

A showoff pretty hunting knife
Superb quality from WR Case in Bradford, PA. I got this for my grandson as his big game carry, belt sheath knife. The 5" drop point blade is a very practical use size for field dressing, quartering and skinning of Deer and Bear. The black leather sheath is VERY sturdy and will protect him from injury should he fall. The Buffalo Horn handle is stronger than synthetics, not brittle like bone or antler and has deep natural beauty. I gave the jigged pattern in the horn a little extra shine with a buffing wheel just for looks. The factory fit and finish is fine, I just like a little more shine and Buffalo Horn is very easy to polish.
