The best review I can offer is the message I received ...
So I tried to leave this with my experience rating, but it's too long. I find it rather ironic that customer feedback should be limited to 100 words. The best review I can offer is the message I received several days after I received my Anemometer. I did receive it on time. It is smaller than I thought. That is good and bad depending on the individual's needs. I'm still working on the calibration process, but so far, it seems to be working nicely. It's rechargeable; you may want to seek out a charger when purchasing this device. Here is the message I received after purchasing it:"You should have received your ennoLogic anemometer by now. I want to follow up with you to ensure you got it. If you haven't received it, there is a link at the bottom to check on the shipping status and to contact us.I'd like to share some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) for getting the most out of your ennoLogic anemometer. Q: What batteries can I use in my eA980R anemometer? A: The only batteries that will work for your anemometer are LIR2032 lithium batteries. Do NOT use CR2032 batteries (which are not lithium!) in the eA980R or it will NOT work. The LIR2032 provide a higher voltage than the CR2032. You can recharge LIR2032 batteries with a suitable charger that you can buy online. Q: How do I turn on the backlight? A: With the anemometer turned on, press and hold the "Set" button for about 2 seconds, until the backlight comes on. Q: My anemometer seems to take a while to respond to temperature changes, sometimes minutes. Is that normal? A: The temperature sensor is located behind the little hole on the left, just below the impeller. You can decrease the response time by increasing the air flow through this hole, for instance by holding the anemometer into the wind or air flow, or by moving the anemometer back and forth. When air is continuously moving through the anemometer, the response time is about 30 seconds. Without air flow, the response is much slower because the temperature sensor is located inside the unit. Q: The altitude reading seems to be off. What's up with that? A: The eA980R anemometer does not measure absolute altitude, like a GPS device, but measures pressure altitude instead. Pressure altitude is used in aviation planning. It is a relative altitude measurement based on barometric pressure. Pressure altitude is defined as 'the altitude above or below a theoretical 29.92 inHg standard datum plane.' For every 1000 feet you go up in altitude there is a decrease of about 1 inHg. The barometer's reading at a certain altitude compared to the 29.92 inHg standard pressure can be used to calculate pressure altitude: Pressure Altitude = (29.92 – Current Pressure) x 1,000 + Field Elevation, where field elevation is the elevation of the airport location. Q: Can the anemometer be calibrated? If so, how do I do that? A: Yes, the anemometer can be calibrated for all parameters. The instructions for that are included in the user manual. Some parameters, like barometric pressure, are pretty easy to calibrate, you just use a reliable online weather service that reports atmospheric pressure for your location. Temperature calibration will require you to have an accurate thermometer. Calibrating wind speed is more complicated, most of us don't have access to a wind tunnel. Unless you have the equipment needed to calibrate wind speed, we recommend not changing the factory calibration for wind speed on your anemometer. That's all for now! I will check in after a couple weeks to make sure you're still loving your ennoLogic anemometer! And of course a few more tips.I do have a small favor to ask. Can you take a few seconds and provide feedback on your buying experience with us? It would be greatly appreciated. Amazing functionality, no saving of settings, seems not sturdy
Amazing in the amount of functions it provides, including backlight. Disappointing that it does not allow saving of your units (knots, mB, DgrC, etc) preferences. Still have to use it "in battle" on the boat, but does not make a very sturdy impression. I probably should have ordered a (much more expensive) Kestrel unit like I used to have (without backlight), or a better one (with backlight). However my verdict is not final yet. I did try it in the car, and its readings were changing a lot, and seemed to underread relative to the car speedometer. Because you can't save your settings, it takes fiddling / practice before it gives what you want.

Don't be afraid of this one! It is good!
This is a really good product. It gives accurate measurements, and has all the features you need at an amazing price point.

A bit overpriced.
I was looking for a more sophisticated wind gauge than what I had, but this thing has almost too many features. I will grant you that it works. It measures the wind, wind chill, barometer, temperature, humidity, altitude and a few other things. But, the (as is typical these days) all features are accessed using only two buttons, therefore if you miss a specific meter, you have to scroll all the way through the gamut of meters until it comes around again. The altitude measurement is off by about 70 feet, because it shows me at minus 67 feet when I'm at sea level, and the price was about three or four times the other anemometer which, though basic, still works after three or four years.

Eats batteries
Unfortunately I did not realize how bad this product was until the return window passed. I thought I had bad batteries but it turns out the device doesn't last on one battery. I put brand new batteries in it, turn it on, use it once, turn it off. If I try to use it again, it is dead. I have to put in a new battery to use it again. So in other words, don't waste your money on this unless you like changing batteries every use.

Works great, i use it for precision sniping and it has help to put rounds on targets consistently at 300 M. We'll see how it does when i finally find a longer shooting range. Easy to use and you can beat the range of measurements it takes for the price.

The information given on the operation of the product is important to know what you are buying
I have not tested the anemometer for accuracy. The look is plastic. I have to select the preferred units of measure every time and it’s annoying. Overall it's nice and practical and offers all I need for predicting bullet trajectory during shooting.
