Not 1 inch at all!!
It’s not 1 inch thick, barely a cm. Really disappointed!

This yoga mat is way too thick
This is not a yoga mat. It is a mattress. Honestly it is so think and not practical.

Very Comfortable
As noted in other reviews, this mat does have a very strong chemical smell when first opened. However, after letting it air out, that odor was gone within a day or so. Also, as noted in other reviews, the corners can curl under, but after flipping it over and letting those curlings flatten out, that is no longer an issue. Meanwhile, it is very comfortable. Even with my arthritic knees, I can kneel on it without any pain. So far, it has held up well with no signs of tearing ( I only use it barefoot or in socks ), and it is not so thick as to impede any balance positions. Very happy with this mat.

Large carpet 1 inch thick. Soft yet durable enough for an exercise mat.

It’s THICK
I was looking for the tickets yoga map possible, and this is it. It’s firm and yet soft. You cannot feel the hard ground. It’s like having 6 yoga maps stacked on top one another.You can yoga on concrete with this thing. So thick. So soft. So firm.
