Could have been 5 Stars but...
The case is very nice looking. The color is perfect, and the "soft skin" aspect is really cool. It is just what I wanted in terms of looks. It was easy to put on my computer, and I really liked that they sent an email to make sure I had the correct model before the package even arrived and had been opened. I love the look and feel of my computer now in this case. The keyboard cover is excellent. Fits very well and I replaced the old cover I had on it, and that is great because my old keyboard cover left a film on my retina screen. This one does not, and is soft and easy to type on. I really like the that the case and keyboard match now. This would've been a five star review. My problem is with the edge of the case on the keyboard sticks out so when I am typing on it, it rubs against the bottom of my forearms and it is highly irritating. The plastic of the case grates against my skin and I tried to ignore it, but it was too aggravating against my skin. I may have to put some kind of tape on it to cover the edge. This part of the case ruined it for me, even though it is what I wanted. I will continue to use it but will have to make adaptions.EDIT: After rereading my review and the other reviews, I noticed 99% of them are paid for reviews. THIS was NOT paid review, I bought this thing full price, so this is a true consumer opinion.

Good Quality Material, but very Scratchy/Rough Front Edges
This is my first MBP case. I appreciate the solid quality of the plastic, and the surface delivers the soft touch feel that it promises. Assembly was easy, a quick snap on top & bottom. The keyboard overlay fit well and stays in place. The overall form factor is good, doesn't extend the profile in any notable direction. My biggest complaint is that the front edges that come up around MBP are very rough/sharp exactly where my wrists/palms lay across the surface. There are a number of ridges that don't seem to have a purpose (aside from the front two snaps), and are likely left over from the molding process. After an hour or so of use, my wrists are red and indented by these ridges. It is so bad, I'm probably going to take a soldering iron or iron to it and see if I can smooth it out. It is a real shame that a "soft touch" cover is smooth everywhere except the one place where you actually end up touching it most of the time.A secondary, but minor, issue is that the keyboard overlay is a little sloppy over the space bar. The overlay causes a little extra resistance to typing, which I expect and it takes some time to get used to. But this is much better than spilling you latte into your MBP keyboard. A small inconvenience to pay.So I have to knock this down 2 stars for the scratchy/rough edges. 1 because it bothers me, and another because I will have to alter it to make it useable.

Color not vibrant as pix, black smudge particle, great customer service
The wine red is not a vibrant red as you would think from the pictures. Also there was a disgusting black particle on the keyboard cover which made me sick looking at. The customer service of ibenezer is great though. I emailed the seller and asked if I could get a logo less cover and they obliged !! If it wasnt for the other issues, I'd rate 5/5 for sure

Good Value, Nicely Made
Good fit, nice protection, good feel and easy to install. The keyboard protection mat take a bit to get used to and is a bit awkward for some of the perimeter keys sometimes leading to a "fat finger" kind of typo. Aside from that minor observation, I would have given the iBenzer cover a 5 star rating. The best review is that my wife, who doesn't really pay much attention to things like MacBook covers, saw mine and immediately placed an order for the same thing in her own color preference. There were quite a few colors to pick from and both of our were true to the color rendition on the amazon thumbnail.

Totally Liking The Case!
July 16, 2016:It will definitely protect against scratches BUT WILL NOT PROTECT AGAISNT ANYTHING ELSE and that's okay because it was never intended to do so. If you want something to drop-proof your laptop consider a pelican case or something equivalent. The wine is a very nice matte and is smooth but more textured than the MacBook so it feels a lot more secure in my hands. It also doesn't add much (almost anything at all) to the profile so you don't have to reallocate gear in your camera/laptop bags or backpacks. The keyboard cover perfectly matches the case but you may want to remove it if you're video/photo editing or gaming as it will impede the cooling of your laptop. My one gripe would be the logo placement (wish it didn't have one) but it's inevitable and at least they were subtle!I've had no issues with opening or closing my MacBook with the case on. It comes with unnecessary instructions (probably included due to a lot of user error and its feedback to the company). The tabs do seem a little weak so I expect to get 6-8 months out of it (maybe a year if I never take it off) before purchasing a new one; and for the price and cool touch it adds, it'd be totally worth it! Will update in a few months.
