£40 for three lights with tripods. Sound like a great deal doesn't it? There's a reason they are so cheap. That reason is because these are complete cheap made in China rubbish. You'll get more light from a pound torch. The tripods are cheap nasty plastic, the lights are made of the same. It all feels like it's about to snap. The cherry on the cake though is how hot the on/off up/down switch on the lights wire gets. Not only hot but the electrical smell is terrible. For those reviewing saying they are good have probably never bought any photography lights before.Don't take the chance. These things are an accident waiting to happen. My own fault for thinking there was still bargain to be had.Returning and will spend more money on quality.

3 adjustable tripod stands with led lighting to create studio class lighting effects in 4 colours
This box contained 3 adjustable tripod stands with led lighting to create studio class lighting effects in 4 different colours. The tripod stands are easy to fit together by spreading out the bases and the telescopic central poles can be adjusted in height from 27 to 48 inches in height. The lights each have 70 LEDs in them and they fit onto the poles with an adjustable angle ball joint so u can tip the light from side to side or tilt up or down. There are 3 sets of 4 filter plastic sheets that u can place in front of the led lights to change the colour of the lighting. They are ideal to use to get different lighting effects when u are taking photographs or creating videos. U can use as many lights as needed around the image u are capturing to get the best lighting and pictures. The tripods are very stable and the poles are strong to extend to the height that gets the best visual effects. The lights plug in via usb cables to usb sockets or ports and they have long cables with inline controls on them to turn the lights on and off and change the brightness levels from 10 settings at 10% increments. This will help to create different atmosphere and drama to the subject that u take pictures or video of with your camera. U will find u get better images if the lighting is improved and u can take the set with u easily as its lightweight, folds up small and is portable to carry to your chosen location. U may need to use power banks to work the lighting off if u are using it in an outside area or where u dont have access to mains electric. These are great for any beginner or professional photographer or video/movie maker.

The best thing I've bought this year!! Except for better things.
Bright, adjustable, run for ages from powerbanks (not included) or for longer still from a USB plug (not included) - the coloured tone coverings are great, the full stands are sturdy enough. I'm strugging to find anything to write about them... they're exactly what they say and that was perfect for my use.My use has been.... photography, vlogging. midnight maintenance on a motorcycle, looking in the attic, dazzling the partner, creating a trip hazard, working in the garage looking for a damned nut that fell off a brake lever, identifying a rodent that was nuzzling around my shed at 3am...They're just awesome.

Problems with use on a USB Hub
I connected one of the lights to a power-only socket (max 2.4A) on my Aukey CB-H19 USB Hub and the light illuminated but if I then tried to dim the light it turned the light off. I added another light to a different power-only socket and this also illuminated but if I tried to dim either of the lights *both* of the connected lights went off. The same happened if I turned either of the lights off. In addition, as the lights went off, my Logitech Webcam also went off but turned back on again a few seconds later. After a few minutes both of the lights turned off by themselves.I currently have one light connected to a power-only socket, one to a power+data socket and the third to my laptop (where I *can* dim the light). If I turn off the light connected to the power+data socket my camera still drops out for a few seconds but with this arrangement at least the lights connected to the USB Hub can be turned on/off independently. The lights also stay on.It seems that the USB Hub isn't up to the task of powering the lights properly (possibly a problem the power supply that came with the hub) so I may have to buy a different one with a higher current rating. Alternatively, I could look for a plain USB Power Supply (i.e. no data capability) as the simpler electronics might not be confused by turning the lights off.
