Awesome intro book
An excellent layout to learning - the code, the explanation (with straightforward examples). The biggest thing with the book - is that you don't master everything but have a solid base to experiment and enough knowledge to use and create something from scratch. We need a lot more "into" books like this for folks who want to pick up the core/basics - and then can extrapolate out the rest.By the end - you're up on the cloud w/ the db and the app, you've got a quick understanding of node/build routines, etc. To boot - there are some good examples of code typescript, etc.) that although are required - provide a good background and a few learning opps for them as well.

Easy to follow,minimal fluff
I got a copy of this book from Greg after buying some of his other books earlier. I followed the steps as he described them in the book and things fell in place like he said. If you want to learn MEAN stack, this is a good place to start. While it is possible the interface of some of the web tools may change due to technology and desire to give the users the best experience, I enjoyed using this book and that is for someone who had no idea what MEAN stack meant before seeing the title page.

Equivalent of a YouTube tutorial
Talk about primitive. It's the equivalent of a YouTube tutorial. Save your money.

Fantastic Read
I have just started the MEAN and so far the instructions in this book are really accurate and precise. Even with MongoDB been updated since this book was published you will always find your way on the course. I am so looking forward to finishing this and using the finished product on my website design portfolio
