REDUCES ACID ON THE COFFEE AND OTHER FOODS AS WELL LIKE PIZZA, ORANGE JUICE FOOD WITH ACID.
It really works. I used to work for the ingredient company sells to this company and one of the employees told me it could be added to your pizza to reduce acid and orange juice and other stuff. It doesn't change the taste. I also heard it helped someone with bladder problems and made changed their life and osteoporosis.

Impressed
I love coffee, love it! Without adding this product I am not able to drink more than one cup. I've tried other products, more expensive & this is the one that works. Also, it dissolves well which we all know is important. Thank you...

Works . . . just Overpriced, I think
This product works for me. As a coffee lover, I kept looking for solutions online to curb my intolerance of the acid. I found that if I took a Prilosec, chewed 2 Beano tablets, added a little baking soda and a dash of salt to the coffee, swallowed a big gulp of heaving whipping cream just before drinking, and took sips of water between sips of coffee, I could drink half a cup every other day with minimal discomfort. When I discovered this product, I didn’t dare try it “cold turkey,” but eliminated the aforementioned precursors one by one. Yesterday I was down to just the gulp of whipping cream and some water at intervals. I was able to enjoy a full cup with no side effects or pain. Today was my first solo cup of coffee with my usual Cremora but with no precursors or water intervals. I am a little uncomfortable...a little bloated, a little heartburn...but so far, not the usual “I think I may die” kind of stomach cramping. I will likely go back to at least one precursor, but it is still nice to be able to have a full cup of coffee daily. I also used it for a tomato-based vegetable soup, and it worked nicely in the soup as well. While you cannot taste the product itself, it does change the taste of the food. It greatly reduces the tang of the tomatoes, for example, and removes the acrid taste of the coffee...the latter is an improved taste, making the coffee smoother. I have mixed emotions about my preference in the tangy taste of tomatoes, but can attest that there is no actual bad taste from the product itself. So functionally, it is a great product. However, it is quite pricey. It recommends two packets per cup or food item (each packet contains about a pinch of product). The cost of adding product is several times the cost of brewed (not K-cup) coffee or about 50 cents per cup. Doesn’t sound like much, but to put that in perspective, a couple having at two cups of acidic food or beverage a day would add more than $60 a month to their monthly food bill. The highest group being intolerant of acidic foods is senior adults, and that kind of hit can be hard on many with a fixed incomes. Note that I am in no way condemning the developer...new products are expensive to bring to market. I’m just saying for many household, it may be cost prohibitive.

Should have bought this a long time ago
I tend to suffer with acid reflux quite a bit. I realized some of the coffee we were drinking was probably a huge culprit . I found this product on Amazon and thought I’d give it a try—4 boxes later, I’m still super happy. We even buy low acid coffee and I still add this. I sprinkle about a 1/3 of the packet per cup and it’s working great. I have plans to try this with orange juice (even the low acid kind bothers me)

Tamed the Acid - not the flavor
Works really well. I can finally drink coffee again without acid reflux. Thank you!

Needs a measuring cup
The acid reducer works fine, however they need to include a small measuring cup. There is no way a normal person can measure 1/16th of a quarter teaspoon. Especially with a shaker that works like a salt shaker. Prefer the packets, but they’re a bit over priced. I have silent reflux and need to be sure I’m measuring properly.

Worth trying
Seems to me that the product is working but I would like to reserve final comment. However, after reading the comments about the difficulty dissolving the product in hot beverages, I decided to mix it with cold creamer which I then zap enough to keep it from chilling off the coffee. This seems do the trick. There's some settling if the coffee sits a while so it's a good idea to stir it from time to time.
