The phone came exactly as described by the seller. Mint condition and specs match the title of the article (128 GB storage, 6 GB RAM). Screen seems to scratch quite easily, but this is inherent to the material, so I recommend getting a screen protector before start using the phone.

Is not a repair shop in UK if something happens to the phone that the user cannot repair to itself. The process of communicating with Fairphone is very slow. The process of sending the phone to repair through UPS courier is DAUNTING at the very least. I don’t recommend to buy this phone at the moment till those things improve a lot or change. But if anyone wants to, consider to pay a protection insurance coverage for the phone and check and ask in advance go will take of the repair process. Package and printed or non printed labels, fees, time estimated etc. Without having another smartphone as back up in the meantime, again, I don’t recommend to buy this phone. Anyway. To anyone who think about buy things from a mobile provider with a SIM contract, be aware that people will inflate the original price of the Fairphone for get their profit. Also, consider to check Facebook marketplace and second hand shops near you in case at some point you want to sell the phone. Because is actually no demand for it. Die Lieferung war einwandfrei. Das Fairphone 4 ist wie erwartet im Topzustand. Es wurde gerade auf Android 15 upgedatet.Es wird später „wenn ich mal Zeit habe“ eine e/OS installiert. Ich habe zwei Geräte erworben, eins für den privaten Einsatz, das andere für den Job.

L'idea di base ottima, diciamo che il telefono si comporta discretamente bene il fatto che sia completamente libero il software è una grandissima cosa. Dei difetti che sono insormontabili: i microfoni delle chiamate sono assolutamente orribili non vi sentirà nessuno e se vi sentono vi sentono con un fruscio di sottofondo. Inoltre il microfono per il vivavoce che usiamo tutti per i vocali WhatsApp si trova sul lato sinistro del telefono. inevitabilmente quando teniamo il telefono fra le mani ci mettiamo il dito sopra a coprire il microfono e quindi verra l' audio che non si sente nulla. El concepto del teléfono y de la marca me encantan, el tema de poder reemplazar por partes a la hora de arreglarlo y la sostenibilidad, pero he de decir que me ha decepcionado en cuanto al funcionamiento. Resulta que no me reconoce las llamadas, todas se identifican como "desconocido" y además se traba constantemente mientras estás en una app. He escrito al vendedor a ver qué me contesta

Endlich habe ich mal ein Telefon das gut und sicher in der Hand. Mein vorheriges war zwar kleiner (Moto e5) aber komischerweise rutsche das mir ständig aus den Fingern so daß ich eine stabile Hülle dafür brauchte. Mit Android 8 war jetzt aber auch Schluß mit lustig und da ich1. keine Lust auf festeingebaute Akkus habe, 2. mal was für Länger suchte, 3. reparierbarkeit ein Muß war und 4. auch andere Betriebssysteme darauf arbeiten sollen habe ich mich für ein Fairphone 4 entschieden und bereue es nicht. Zunächst war Android 12 darauf welches aber innerhalb von 2 Stunden schon eine Update Info für Android 15 erhielt. Einfach Installation, einfache Handhabung. Es gibt zwar so gut wie keine Bedienanleitung für das Phone (aber einige Foren) aber eigentlich ist es selbsterklärend. E-Sim installieren ging auch einfach und eine große SD Card habe ich auch noch eingelegt. Der Bildschirm ist klar und kontrastreich, die Kamera für meine Ansprüche gut- bis sehr gut auch noch im Halbdusterm (das liegt aber auch oft an der App. Ich habe 4 verschiedene und bei allen sehen die Foto sehr unterschiedlich aus in Licht und Farbe), die On/off Taste liegt zwar etwas tief und ungewohnt im Gerät seitlich aber auch daran gewöhnt man sich. Gewöhnen konnte ich mich allerdings nicht an Android 15. Chaotisches Programm und völlig überladen. Ich habe dann per Installer das alternative IODE installiert und bin jetzt wunschlos glücklich (zumindest was Smartphones anbelangt). Es ist kein Ladegerät dabei! Aber das erhält man einfach im rot-weißen Drogeriemarkt für 10 Euro.
