Solid metal. But what's the point if you don't have good anchors. The ones that came were the tornado type, self drilling. They broke when screwing into drywall.I contacted seller and no response for replacement. Not worth buying these style of anchors at 3$ per pair.The instructions are horrible. No real reason for larger and smaller holes.If you can drill into studs then maybe this will be more effective.

We took down some Buhtta pictures from our living room and hung some ordinary (non-religious) art instead. We cleaned out all the wicked and demonic stuff from our house. There was a surprising large amount. No, were not evil. Just wicked junk collected over the years.Every single day the new art is being thrown off the wall and onto the floor even though it should be impossible. It had to climb UP large nails and then jump outward about three feet to do it. We never saw it happen. It happened only at night.These tough little hooks solved the problem. We screwed them into the frame behind the wall and wired the art to them and the upturned hooks on the end help too.Screw you demons!

I bought these hooks to store my Oculus Rift S headset and controllers, so they had a place instead of sitting on some surface. They're unadjustable, but are the perfect length to safely store the headset and controllers. There's a small lip at the edge to avoid any knockoffs or sliding offs, and of course there's the rubber coating to avoid movement, which puts my mind at ease for my VR equipment.The hooks are secured on the wall after screwing them in, with no movement from them if pushed on. For a Rift S headset, you will have the leave the viewing portion dangling, and the plastic/fabric head strap on the hook, but I've noticed no lines from where the fabric was sitting on the hook.Overall, I'm very pleased with the resulting storage for my VR equipment. I'm glad I purchased these hooks instead of a stand or wall mount specifically catered to VR equipment.

9-8-22 update: Still working just fine!Used this product to hang a walker in the garage. The hooks are sturdy enough, and the screws are good hardware - neither striopped out or head broke off as is often the case with cheap pot metal hardware stuff from China. Phillips screwdriver is about the only tool required unless you need to make a starter hole in drywall which was my situation. I use an ice pick for that. That way, I don't need to get the drill out.....

Easy to install with included hardware, drove the screws straight into a stud and it is sturdy enough for a 45 pound barbell. It fits a little tight on the barbell collar but that will probably loosen up a bit over time as the rubber compresses on the hooks. Perfect for what I'm using it for.
