I Love it-Bravo Alan!!!
This is a very Polished and Played with Blood concert!Alan is well known as the Recording Engineer for The Dark Side of the Moon, Tape Op for The BeaTles, superb mixing & production for the 1st 2 Ambrosia classics, Al Stewart, & much more!!!For the Waters "trolls" here to give 1 star for this means: they have crap audio/video and no ears whatsoever, they are whining little nuisances, they do not realize that someone like Alan not ONLY composed and played and sang on this...he Mixed it at his studio in Santa Barbara! Why on Earth would someone like Alan release something that did not sound great!!?? So...Pros & Cons:Cons: Indeed the disc says dts, but defaults to Dolby Digital (or LPCM). So This makes it so inferior? Yes, I would have loved a Dolby Atmos mix, but I played this on a great Denon system & PS3 and Snell/JBL speakers and it sounds great! Another missing piece is no Special Features which orchestra rehearsals would have been cool! Lastly, the 7...Hz tone would have been a great addition (for the lucky who have transducers that can reproduce it) & very fascinating story!!Pros: The concert hall is magnificent and the conductor/keyboardist is on fire! The band and singing are excellent! The Israeli Philharmonic makes the music come alive and the arrangements are creative. The use of space videos are nice and would have loved more on "One Note". The video quality is fine, it plays in North America (unlike what Amazon says) and the mix is superb! I goosed the sub a touch since I love very low end. My wife is a cello player here in LA & Brazil...I am a guitarist, Recording Engineer (shared a credit with Alan-a Hero of mine!-on Ambrosia Anthology), and composer...so I do believe we know Precisely what "That Sound!" is and this Blu-Ray is a breath of fresh air! Lastly, BRAVO to Alan for his career, his great education discs and books, and the fact that he REALIZES that boycotting Israel (as Roger begged him to!) ONLY hurts the fans! His fans comprise ALL religions and countries. BDS has done NOTHING AT ALL to hurt Israel!!! It ONLY hurts fans. BrrrrrrAVO for also having the Israeli Philharmonic play on this! The audience were on their feet-they Feel the Love from Alan and all. The inclusion of tracks from the Great "Tales" record is so welcome + Sorcerer's Apprentice is Amazing! HIGHLY Recommend this! Some of it is Pink Floyd-Lite, but also some great tracks here. Sounds fine...PS Alan sings way better than Roger!

Great Blu Ray concert, but missing I Robot
This Blu Ray is a keeper with a performance with another Orchestra, which was missing from the Netherlands recordings. Music was well mixed and a little more volume than the Columbia recording, but was missing the song I Robot, that they play at most concerts. I Robot in Columbia was exceptional with their chorus. It is great that some of these old bands (like Toto & APP) are still out there cutting great recordings.

A spirited performance, regardless of whether the labeling for the audio formats are accurate
I wasn't sure what to think after ordering this on Amazon yesterday and receiving today. Yes, the menu showing LPCM 2.0 and DTS-HD 5.1 is inaccurate. The mix is Dolby Digital 2.0 and Dolby Digital 5.1, and the lighting with all that red on the stage leaves something to be desired. I also have a Trinnov Altitude 32, and I'll confirm what "audio fan" said there. However, it's an energetic show, with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra giving Parsons flexibility to play well into his catalog. I especially like the versions of "One Note Symphony", "Don't Answer Me", "Sirius/Games People Play". But the real knockout is "Prime Time". I don't think I appreciated this song nearly as much when it came out in the 80's.Considering that it's a 48K mix, and with the Altitude, we can apply all sorts of upmixing capability (with a multichannel, I actually prefer Neural:X since the DTS:X Pro on the Altitude will use all my speakers)...and while I'll dock it a star for less than true advertising, it's a keeper.

Mis-Labeled Audio & Video is Just Bad
Received this Blu-ray yesterday and I must say I am completely underwhelmed. Audio is lossy Dolby Digital 5.1 not DTS-HD Master..yada..yada..the Video is really underwhelming as well due to complete oversaturation of the lighting and even the general focus is not at all consistent (sometimes good / sometimes bad) and this is on my 77" LG OLED. The other AP Blu-rays (Live in Colombia & The Neverending Show) are so much better in both Audio and Video (really like nite and day) - unfortunately as much as I wanted to keep this - it's going back.
