It’s almost more of an art piece but it is highly durable, I’ve dropped it several times already and it still lights right up.I love how the eyes of the dragon light up up and the flame changes color. The design is very detailed and it has great weight.It’s a little too bulky to carry in your pocket but you wouldn’t want to take it out and possibly lose or get it conveniently stolen from you. The one drawback I found is that it runs out of fuel pretty quickly and it doesn’t have a window to show how much fuel is left in the lighter. Mine also has a slightly off center refill nub so it leaks a little when I refill it sometimes. No worries, I just have to pay a little more attention when refilling.Overall, I would highly recommend picking this up as a gift for yourself or that cigar smoker who thinks they have everything. Had this for a little over a week. It comes in a nice box with instructions on how to fill the lighter correctly. Follow the directions when filling it up or it won’t light correctly. It’s a cool lighter. The single flame torch is great when lighting my cigars. The knife can be very useful as a cigar saver when you get down to the nub. Over all I like it and can make a great gift for any one that smokes. For the money it was very worth it. Get one if you can.

This Jet Torch Lighter by HomCom is as interesting a device as it is a beautifully crafted one. Upon initial opening of highly anticipated Amazon packaging, I was greeted by the elegance of its boxing. It was covered in black and red stitching’s. A cover box embroidered in very artistic designs dragons and flowers. A simple bronze locking mechanism allows for easy opening and closing of the box. A nice touch.Opening the box, a gold lined interior and cushion cradles the lighter in a very appealing way. Its apparent this lighter is meant to impress from the very beginning of opening the box to when I hold the lighter in my hand. And just like it’s packaging, it does not fail to impress. The Lighter is well crafted and sturdy. upon inspection, I was delighted by the details in its carved casings. It is clear, that this Lighter is meant to look like a fierce tiger, and it shows. Gritted teeth expose the torch behind them, and the ears are the switch that activates the torch. Pulling back the ears, ignites the torch. And just like an angry Tiger with pulled back ears, its ready to attack. This is evident by the glowing red eyes the lighter displays just before the torch ignites. It is quite stunning to see. LEDs in the casing create the affect of a powerful tiger about to unleash its fury. And then there’s the torch, when activated the lighter goes into the traditional blue torch flame you see in most butane lighters. Only, with this one, it feels the need to subvert this expectation by slowing changing the color of the flame from blue to red. And I will say this time and time again, this never gets old. It is a satisfying affect that sells the aesthetic that this is one mean kitty. The Tiger Lighter also comes with a 4-inch spring activated blade that pounces from seemingly nowhere and surprises me every time when I press its button on the base of the lighter handle. It’s big, It’s sharp and it’s powerful. Everything a Tiger Lighter should be.In my time using it, it holds up as a lighter quite fine. Smoking different cigar types and sizes was certainly not a challenge for the device. It had great control in lighting the cigars along its edges and through the middle of it’s ring gauges. I felt it was quite easy to roast my cigars with this lighter than with most other lighters I’ve used in the past. This is due to the precise single flame torch the folks at HOMCOM has implemented into its design. It all feels intentional. If you’re in the market for unique, custom lighters as a collector, this lighter is for you.For the rest of us, I have a hard time finding the practicality for this lighter. Because of the design, the butane storage is limited with no gauge to determine how much fuel remains. You only get so few lights of the torch before a replenish of butane is needed. So, keep that trusty butane can nearby. Nothing more tragic than an unlit cigar with no flame in sight. As an avid cigar smoker, I find the knife a bit unnecessary for my everyday needs. A cigar punch or scissor would be more applicable to a more satisfying smoking experience. I also would have liked to have seen a more consistent design between the box and the lighter. The box has dragons on them, the lighter is a tiger. It’s a bit confusing.All in All, HOMCOM’s Jet Torch Tiger Lighter is fierce device that triggers all the wants and needs of the person who aches to have a novelty piece that makes for great conversational points in any discussion with a show and tell. It’s a lighter one could benefit having as part of their collection. But for everyday use, stick to your old reliable. I got this for my dad but it never held enough of the butane after being completely and correctly filled for more than a day so there must be a leak in it upon arrival.. Otherwise it's pretty cool.

Worked okay for the first few uses, then it wouldn't shut off. I would not recommend this lighter.

EDITED REVIEW:After I left my review the company was very prompt in reaching out to me and told me they addressed the problem (a gasket issue). In addition to that they sent me a functioning replacement. The flame goes out almost immediately after the trigger is released, and it's a stronger flame. Like the size I would expect for this lighter. The refill isn't messy either. So I would now say that if you do get a malfunctioning product when you order this, the company is prompt to fix it.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Title: Kind of dangerous: fill is sloppy, flame takes awhile to go out.Bought this for my friends bday as a novelty gift. It looks so cool! The knife is sharp. However when I went to fill it before I gave it to him, the butane would get EVERYWHERE and shoot out of places on the lighter. The flame is really small for a torch lighter even after adjusting the hard to reach switch, and it takes two seconds to shut off once you let go of the trigger. So its a dangerous, and ineffective flame. I ordered a replacement and am seeing how it turns out. Will update if that one actually works.

Well, here’s it is!Just push the button on the Tiger for the knife and immediately The knife is open, sharp and ready to cut!Once you fill the lighter with butane, gently pull down on the tigers ears and immediately the tigers eyes light up to a fiery red color and a bright, red flame shoots from its mouth!This knife would be perfect for camping, just by a sheath to keep it in, put it on your side and you’re ready for action! You definitely need to check this combo out if you haven’t already!!!

I was so excited to buy this product since i lost my last pocket knife but omggg i’m so sad cuz i wanted to love it. The knife likes to pop open on its own either in my pocket or in my bag, luckily it hasn’t stabbed me yet. Also the lighter won’t work. When i try filling it with lighter fluid it’s messy n comes out of different places and when i go to light it either doesn’t spark at all or the flame goes everywhere except where it’s supposed to come out of. It’s very pretty in person tho n decently sharp so i just keep it around to open other packages lmao. Anyways trashy knife
