Hands down, these are the BEST bike-shorts I've ordered and worn! I have purchased the 2x & 3x sizes and both are true to size, material is 100% breathable and does not ride up my legs when walking - THANK YOU! I have a total of 6 pairs and will only be ordering this brand of bike shorts from here on out, as they are simply the best!

Fits a very oddly shaped woman well. Not too tight and looks like casual wear, not tights. Decided to buy a second one because they are so comfortable.

I had been searching and searching for mostly cotton shorts like these for ages. At first I thought they were too thick (they're not made of typical legging or bike short material, they're a bit thicker almost like a hybrid of typical legging material and super-thin sweat pants). Once I wore them I appreciated their thicker fabric. I desperately needed something to wear under skirts and dresses to avoid the dreaded "chub rub" and these do the trick splendidly. I literally bought a few dozen pairs of 'em because they've become an instant staple of my wardrobe. I can be so much more active with these. They're actually affordable enough to buy multiple pairs without spending the kind of money that good underthings usually cost. There's a limit of 7 allowed per customer on Amazon so I just went to the Just My Size website and bought more. I wear 'em around the house, to bed and they're basically what I'm calling my modern bloomers. I wear them as underwear! They're super comfortable, they keep their shape (they stretch out a tiny bit which seems like a normal amount as you wear them but just wash and dry them and they bounce right back to size), they're well made and they don't creep up, ride up or bunch up. I would never wear them in public without a dress or skirt, though. They aren't a good look as shorts, imho. They do run big so you can really, truly, honestly buy a size smaller than what you usually wear and they should fit perfectly. They come up very high, just above my waist, but I like the way they fit and feel. I feel covered, comfortable and contained in them but not at all constricted. They're just slightly bulky under skirts and dresses but not enough show under clothes or to deter me for wearing them. I washed and dried them on hot and they didn't shrink. 10% spandex helps them keep their shape. I got black but I read in reviews that the heather grey has a higher percentage of spandex. The black is more of a charcoal, a bit faded looking, than a true black. I wouldn't call them bike shorts but whatever they are they're great. I just hope they don't get discontinued!

I originally purchased these shorts to wear under skirts and dresses. After I realized how much I love the easy of throwing on shorts to work around the house I quickly bought more. I have purchased 3 sets of shorts since my first order. I am 5'2 and have fluctuated in weight but range between a pants size 16-18. I purchased a 1X which fit great. On my second order I purchased another 1X and a 2X. Since my weight has shifted I wanted to see if the 2X gave me a little for length in the legs and more wiggle room. Both fit great. For those ladies that can bounce between that regular sizing category and plus size, these are a friendly option for you. If you aren't sure of ordering these I hope these notes help... If you're going to wear these under dresses and skirts to add to your comfortable level or wear around your house for relaxing and chores, you can't go wrong with these! They are lightweight, comfortable, stretchy, easy, and a wonderful cost friendly option (especially for an item most people won't see). If you are looking to purchase these shorts to wear while working out, shopping, hanging out with friends or running after kids then I think you should look elsewhere. The material isn't see through but it is thin. I do not feel comfortable bending over in these. These shorts are not squatproof! I didn't expect them to I be squatproof but I feel it's important to stress this point for future buyers incase you are looking for that type of coverage. If I was going to wear shorts out in public I would want a thicker material. That said, I am still so happy with this purchase and plan on buying more. If you're looking for comfy, lightweight, easy shorts, you have found the ones you need.

I generally buy these shorts for the summer and to sleep in through the winter, I work from home so rarely wear anything other than shorts and t shirts, I have ordered these exact shorts 5 times over the last 10 years, the shorts that arrived this time are not what was pictured nor what I received in the past, first they are longer from the crotch, then the waistband is not the same there is a seam then about a 2 inch panel then the elastic waistband, also the width on the elastic is not one inch at most it is half a inch. And they are really high waisted. I have been folding them over, but the fit is not comfortable and I have to constantly pull these shorts up. This was not what I ordered and I am hesitant to order again.

I love these. Definitely very comfortable and breathable material. I wear them all the time around the house, to work out, and do yard work.

As a fat, I'm dubious about some clothing. These are soft, comfortable, run true to size, are a little shorter on me but I'm 6'2 so I account for that. You could totally wear these under a dress for chub rub damage control.

Comfy shorts. Material in grey version is a little thinner than black version but still good quality.
