Atlas Sound AD-8B

This worked perfectly on my standard 'On Stage Stands' microphone boom stand. I needed it to extend the stand just about 6 more inches to work with an Audio Isolator I purchased for voice overs. The extra 6" was just enough for the boom part of the stand to clear the top of the Isolator. Works perfectly- looks great. very sturdy. I found that with a couple tweaks, you can make this work with a boom stand. I purchased a 6" Extension Tube (AD-8B) & an Adapter to turn a male-male extension tube to a female-male (AD-5B) from Atlas Sound to work with my standard 'On Stage Stand' microphone boom stand to work with my CAD Audio Acousti-Shield 32.See pictures of my set up.

Excellent quality and just the right length when used with Atlas AD11BE 5/8-Inch 27 Thread Surface Mount! I used this combination mounted on mykeyboard stand along with a boom to keep from having to use a regular floor microphone stand. Also, it is easy to remove from keyboard stand fortransport.

Works as intended. Extends the traditional old stick microphone stands for us taller crooners ...

Does its job.
