It’s just a hair off a modern cut. I understand it’s a “cold hiking” pant but you would probably be uncomfortable with a base layer so why not make it a bit slimmer cut. It’s negligible depending on your build. All that being said I have lived in them when it’s sub 45 and they are amazing for the price.

The idea behind the fabric is good - extra warmth for cool weather without much extra weight. Howver, for pants that are likely to be used for outdoor activities the pockets are lousy - the one zip closed one is on the leg seam, a tough location to get a phone in and out of, and the back pockets have no closures, making it likely that wallets/phones/etc will fall out when you are sitting on the ground, a rock, a camp chair, etc.

Ordered 34” inseam. Pants came and were labeled 34” inseam. Husband tried them on, looked way too short. Measured the pants and they were 29” inseam! Mis-labeled…waiting for replacement pair, fingers crossed.Update 2/22/22: still have not received replacement or refund!
