not enough O's in smooth to describe this.
This is great graphite(lead), I got this a few hours ago and filled one of my pencils with it to test it out. I have been using the cheap lead from the dollar store and this writes sooo much smoother. Great price and a great amount this will last for a while. Will buy again and recommend to my colleagues( I am a teacher) and will keep some handy for the kids who seem to run out often.

Good Lead
This is pretty good lead. It doesn't break very often, but whenever it does, it's usually because I let too much of the lead come out from the mechanical pencil body. I'm not sure how sturdy this would be for writers that use a lot of force when writing, but for me this is a good quality lead for a very nice price.

Very strong lead and great overall; a little lighter than expected
This is a great set of lead at a solid price. The lead does not break easily and erases really well with Staedtler Mars plastic erasers. It does show up as a bit lighter black than expected, but that's the only minor gripe I have with these products. Far better price and value ratio than equivalent products from the name brands.
