Xloop Rimless Gafas De Sol Mirror Triathlon Running Cycling Sunglasses

After hearing soo many negative complaints about these glasses I wanted to halt the delivery that was already in progress. I usually check out the reviews before purchasing an item but didn't this time and since this item was at great price I had no problem returning and waiting for refund to be put back on credit card. I guess I was lucky again, as always when I recieved a great pairin the mail. I must be on a lucky streak because all my purchases have been great on arrival.I just figured it out.. I'M A PRIME MEMBER.. so I guess when workers over at the warehouse notice my 'prime member status' I get the hook-up and receive the best quality items available in the warehouse.. haha-lol-X2.. Anyways I'm delicate with all my items whether they cost $10 or $200 bucks I guess I'm lucky that way... I only wear these glasses in the car to look cool on hot glaring days of sun while driving. I was gonna wear these when I jog but why take a chance sweating them upsince everyone claim they're so cheap, these glasses are nice.

I was having trouble finding a pair of sunglasses that fit like my Oakley Penny Series. Unfortunately, my Penny's could not be repaired anymore since Oakley discontinued repair on them. I ordered these and even though they seem cheaply made, I was pleased with the way they fit. The frames fit close to my temples and the lenses are perfect size. Not to big or small. Just enough to cover my eyes without sticking out to far from the temple. The only thing I really didn't like was the small plastic bolts on the inside part of the lenses. I feel them on my brows. I would buy another pair for my second vehicle.

I understand that these glasses are inexpensive but they completely snapped in half as I unfolded them to try on. I was gentle and unfolded them barely applying any pressure and SNAP! Because of the price there's not much sense complaining but you'd think that they would be built with better quality than what they are. The shame of it all is that they do look awesome,..but don't waste the cheap price unless you plan to just leave them sitting in a drawer or on your desk.

I wish the rating system would allow me to rate these a 3.5, in fact for me I'd have no qualms with rating them four stars but I'll explain why I didn't do that.First of all, for me the lower rating is not a quality issue at all but a sizing and field of view issue. I have a very small and angular face and this model just fits me. These frames are extremely small and will serve children and possibly youth well. The quality and durability seems really good for the price. The metal is more stout than I would have expected and they are designed to stay snug to your face. The lenses are really dark which is good for their intended purpose for outdoor sports or beach wear. The lenses are so small though that the field of view is somewhat distorted by the nose piece and the coverage of the lens is lacking so for sports in particular X-Loop has better offerings. I do wish that for a couple $ more this model would be available with polarized lenses. I bought mine for the beach so for me these are nice as they just fit and are actually quite comfortable and stay in place. Easily four stars for me, but for most adults they will be way too small so please take that into consideration. I have the premium brand sunglasses but I don't subject mine to the abuse of travel and I will say that personally I've always had really good luck with X-Loops for beater travel sunglasses.

Like: Lenses are clear, nose pieces are adjustable, fit is comfortable. Most of all I love the rimless aspect. This means the glasses are less likely to fog up and it's easier to see over the top when down in my drop bars. Oh yeah, and they are less than $6.Don't like: Lens coating scuffs easily. I dropped these from 3 feet off the ground and, even though they are plastic and light, the coating scratched and came off in a couple spots. The brand sticker on the left hand lense came off easily but permanently discolored the coating. Neither of these issues are noticeable while wearing the glasses or from more than 2 feet away.Note that these glasses run on the smaller size. I have a fairly big head and these look a little small on my face. But still, for the price, these are great.

The sunglasses did arrive promptly and on time (props to Amazon), but they were not at all what I expected.The only provided picture shows that they are perfectly mirrored, but the pair that arrived were not mirrored at all. (Perhaps they sent me the wrong product?) The shape and material is mostly right, but the bridge is very stiff and the two pads are uncomfortable. On the left side, the company logo was misshaped and on the verge of falling off. On top of this, the connecting piece in the middle was not fixed completely, causing the two lens to move around a great deal.Would not recommend.

I was a bit disappointed when I got these sunglasses. I was expecting a mirrored finish, but what I got was gunmetal grey. Only the screws and mini-bolts on the inside are silver, everything else is medium to dark grey. Aside from that, these sunglasses are decent quality, and fit well. The temples hug the face for a very secure fit, and they work well with baseball hats. The lightness of the glasses is definitely a plus when wearing them all day. I haven't experienced any discomfort as of yet. These will make excellent sports glasses due to the weight and fit. If it was advertised properly, I would have given it 5 stars.

I used these for my first sprint triathlon and loved them, they are rimless at the top so I don't have the rim in the way when I am down in the arm bars in the aero position. They stay on your head and don't slip off either. Don't know how durable they are because I have only worn them a few times. Look pretty cool too.
