Nice light, natural coverage NOT full coverage like it claims
This comes in a sealed bag bubble wrapped well. Thereâs no outer product box. But, the concealer bottle does have plastic wrapper sealed around it. The bottle has a little label on it that you pull up to reveal the ingredient list. It is cruelty free (PETA approved). It is made in China. It comes in a nice thick frosted glass bottle. Unfortunately, itâs dispensed with a dropper. I hate concealers/foundations with dropper dispensers! Why?! Iâd much rather have a doe foot for a concealer. They didnât have swatches of the shades they have. Thereâs only 3 shades, which is a pretty sad selection. Itâs hard enough selecting the right foundation shade, but itâs even harder online. When there is a photo of all the shades swatched together, it makes it a little easier. Fortunately, the lack of shade options made it easier. I am fair with a neutral, leaning slightly cool undertone. So, I went for the lightest shade - âMarshmallow.â I usually go for the lightest shade anyways since Iâm so fair and Iâd rather a shade be too light and fix it with bronzer than a shade be too dark.I had gotten the foundation from this brand - Full Measure HD Foundation. The foundation actually had swatches of the shades next to each other, so I was happy about that. I like my concealer to be a shade or 2 lighter so it seemed like the shade âShortbreadâ in the foundation would work well for me. BOY WAS I WRONG! Let me tell you, if âShortbreadâ is any indication of what the other shades are like, the shades shown in the swatches are WAAAAAY off! In person, âShortbreadâ looks more like the swatches for âBanoffeeâ or âSticky Toffee.â Itâs crazy how much darker it is in person! I could immediately tell it wasnât going to work when I saw it in the plastic bag it came in. Sometimes youâll get a foundation bottle and see it inside the bottle and think, âOhhhh, I donât know. That looks too light/dark.â But with this I could immediately tell it was way too dark! I thought for sure they sent the wrong shade. But, nope, they sent âShortbread,â it just looks NOTHING like the swatch photo! After that, I was seriously hoping that âMarshmallowâ would work! Thankfully, âMarshmallowâ worked! It definitely isnât as light as it appears in the bottle in the product photos or in the photos of the same shade in the foundation. I show photos of my own for you to see for yourself where I compared it to the shade âShortbreadâ in the Full Measure HD Foundation. It is a fair to light shade with a slightly warm undertone. This claimed to be full coverage, erase dark under eye circles, expertly cover blemishes and imperfections, blend easily, smooth away appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, provide full coverage with every application, and leave the skin looking fresh and flawless.I already mentioned I hate dropper dispensers for concealers. The concealer seems to bunch up at the top of the bottle and get chunky and dry out and flake in areas, which can fall into the bottle. Then when you pull the dropper out of the bottle, it ends up getting some of that on the dropper. So, you need to be careful when getting it out, which is annoying. The concealer is nice. Itâs definitely nowhere near full coverage for me. Iâd say itâs light, natural coverage. You can try to build it up, but for me it didnât look nice when I would add more. If I do a light layer or even a second light layer, it looks nice and smooth on the under eyes. But, if I try to build it up a little more to get more coverage, it ends up making my under eyes look really dry. It applied easily (once you got some out without the chunks on the edge of the bottle), blended out nicely with brush and sponge. It looked nice after application.Overall, Iâd recommend this concealer if youâre looking for light, natural coverage. It applies easily and looks nice and smooth. It isnât drying on the under eyes as long as you only apply a light layer or 2. I do have dry under eyes to begin with, so maybe if you donât you could get away with building it up more. But, I donât feel that should be necessary when they call it a full coverage concealer. So, I give this 4 stars since it works nicely and looks nice on with a light layer or 2. But, took a star off since itâs no where near the âfull coverage with every applicationâ it claimed.

Really creamy & brightening for under eyes! đđź
Iâm starting to really love this line by Carter Beauty! The packaging is nice and the droppers are easy to use. This is the same bottle as their liquid highlighter. It has a rubberized purple cap, and a nice glass bottle.I got this in âMeringue,â thinking it looked a little darker online. I have light-medium skin with neutral undertones. Sometimes my skin has some pinkness and dark spots. The skin around my eyes is certainly showing its age, often looking dark, droopy, and tired. This is much lighter than I expected, but works like magic on dark circles! Itâs so moisturizing without making my skin look shiny⌠I even swear it plumps up fine lines and gives my skin a lifted look! As far as coverage goes, itâs not as full/coverage as Iâd like but is very buildable. It reminds me of the YSL TouchĂŠ Eclat eye pen. Iâve even used this as a regular concealer on dry, healing acne spots that need extra moisture and coverage.Highly recommend this! I think the shades look darker online than they do in person, so order accordingly or check for user reviews with pics!Hope this helps. âşď¸

Good coverage, but super drying on my skin
This concealer came with a plastic seal on it, but the bottle was not screwed completely. It was tightened enough to prevent spillage, but not tight enough to keep the concealer from getting cakey and seeping all the way to the top of the dropper. In one of the photos you can see how dry and caked on it looks on the dropper, and the amount of concealer that accumulated at the top of the bottle. I decided it was worth a try anyway.I dont know how well it comes across in the photos, but this stuff left my skin super dry. I have combo skin and even in that oily T zone this left me extra flaky. I only used this in the T zone where one would highlight to 'brighten'. I always prep with a serum and a hydrating primer under foundation because I tend to be dry, but this concealer didnt care. This product accentuated every wrinkle and fine line I have. It gave me texture that I didnt even know I had lol. For a liquid concealer Im super surprised because I didnt anticipate it to be so drying.Claims to be full coverage and cover dark under eyes - I dont think it completely masked my dark under eyes but the coverage is quite good. I have redness in my skin and left my cheeks with no product so you can compare them to the rest of my face and see that it does a great job covering that redness.

Shows every flaw
This concealer is not full coverage, and it's not as lightweight as it claims. It's kind of cakey, and it shows every flaw. Smile lines, crow's feet, blemishes - if it's there, this stuff almost points it out. It's a shame too because I like the color. It's good for my fair skin, and it might be okay if I were a teenager with perfect skin, but I'm not. This concealer is also a bit drying on my skin, and that's something I don't want as well. I don't think I've ever run into that problem with a concealer until this one. So, I'd say this concealer just isn't for me.

Well-Sealed, Nice Dropper System ...
This arrives in a fully sealed glass container. There is a plastic "collar" around the whole bottom that needs to be teased away to access the product. Now, this is excellent because you know the product that arrives at your home will be in excellent condition! Now this is a very small bottle that has a dropper dispenser. The dispenser has great potential since it can keep the product free from contamination (if you are careful never to touch the dropper). The product is a little heavy and a little thick (which is pretty much what you might expect from many concealers). Therefore, use this very, very sparingly. Using a very petite brush to just dot this on blemishes (and very lightly blend out the edges) would be the very best approach here. When used on small areas (as is typically with concealers), this can help camouflage small blemishes well.

Donât buy this.
Itâs all chunky and really thick and it doesnât blend at all.
