If your closet is as crowded as mine, these may help.
These are my favorite shirt hangers, I've used them for years. Walgreen's used to carry them but since they stopped I've been getting them from Amazon. They take up no more room than the cheap hangers from the dry-cleaner, yet they stronger and more durable, as well as more attractive. The little plastic caps that cover the end of the wire sometimes fall off, that's not a big deal, I find them on the floor of the closet and put them back. If we had half-stars, I'd subtract half a star for that.Economical and functional, but mostly, they save space in a crowded closet.

Strong, Sturdy Hangers
These are almost identical to some hangers that I was buying at the local supermarket. I was very happy with them, but then the store was gutted and majorly remodeled. When they opened back up, the took away a lot of the stuff they had been selling and this item was one of them. I purchased at least 4 packs from them, and I'm pleased to say that these Merrick hangers appear to be the exact same item. Just a hint...the way you can tell if you're buying higher quality steel hangers is the end cap that's stuck onto the curved end (so that the bare metal doesn't pull threads or rip your clothes). I have found that hangers with these end caps are usually high quality, made with thick metal, hard to bend, and well coated so they don't rust, etc. These hangers are all those things, and are highly recommended. If you're serious about reorganizing your closet, you will probably want to buy more than one set.

Nice sturdy coated hangers for drip-drying
I've used coated wire hangers for drying delicate items for years. Many of the my old hangers had "wandered off" and anything I was finding in stores was much more flimsy than my older hangers. I needed more but couldn't find anything I liked.I decided to take a chance on these and they are exactly what I was looking for. The wire is a much heavier gauge than most of everything else on the market and the coating is smooth so things won't get snagged. They are quite sturdy for a wire hanger and although I'm not sure heavy coats could be hung on them, they would probably work for most other things.

Hook isn't done right.
Although the hangers are strong enough, and they do have end caps, the neck and the hook aren't designed correctly. The hook of a hanger has to go back at an angle from the neck in order for the hanger to hang evenly. The hooks of these hangers go up almost straight from the neck, so the hangers lean to one side. That probably means that things I hang from them, especially anything stretchy, like knits, will eventually become uneven. I bent the hooks of the hangers back myself, but I will probably only use them for things I'm not too worried about, like nightgowns.

Simple vinyl coated white hangers
These were what I was looking for, only wish they came w/ the rubber tips on the end of the hook. (Hence the 4 stars). They used to (I own many), but they don’t seem to sell them w/ the tips any longer. Plus the price has increased for only 10 hangers.
