Good low priced handset
The DOOGEE X96 is a good low cost handset perfect for kids, older people or those who don't need a high performance phone. The device is simple and easy to use, runs Android 11 which is Googles latest OS, has a 5400mAh battery, has an eight core processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It also has three card slots with dual-sim capabilities. All in for a low priced smart phone it's spec'd out, the screen is of good quality and has excellent depth of colour, the overall quality is good especially at the price point and the touch screen responds quickly to touch. Overall a great value for money phone.

Battery dies within hours
I've had this phone for 7 weeks. At first I thought it was ok, not great - or even good - but ok. The camera is beyond bad; it is totally useless. No good in low light and not great in any other light. The time delay between pressing to take a photo and when the camera actually takes it is also at least 30 seconds, sometimes longer. The microphone and ear piece are awkwardy placed and the volume is really low, even when turned up to the maximum level. I was willing to put up with this, as I don't use it much (it would be no good if you spent a lot of time on calls), but a week ago, the battery started dying within hours. It was fully charged this morning and now, 2.5 hours later, it's down to less than 5% battery, despite the fact that I haven't actually used it at all during that period.I only have one app, don't use it to search the internet / watch films, and really only use it to send a couple of texts / messages a day. There is absolutely no reason for the battery to be draining so quickly. The phone also now feels really hot to the touch, which isn't normal. I'm really annoyed that it's less than 2 months since I've had the phone (and, typically, just beyond the return window), and now it's almost totally useless.I bought it because it was the cheapest I could find - what a mistake! Invest in something more expensive which won't break within 7 weeks.

Disappointed
All was going well until I wanted to transfer files on the memory card. Just would not access the card. USB lead was fine and made a tone when connected but there was no option coming up for data transfer, all it wanted to do was charge, nothing else. Sent it back. So called user manual showed you buttons and phone layout and that was it.Internet search gave a few solutions, but none worked, shame it would have been a nice phone otherwise

Brilliant Phone
Originally bought one of these for my wife, as her existing phone was not working right. however when the battery on my own phone started acting up, I decided to by myself the same model, as my wife's phone was that good. Both of us have now been using these phones for a few weeks now, and have to say that both of us are really impressed with how it operates and the battery lasts for days on a full charge.I would highly recommend this phone, and it is a really good price, I have had an IPhone in the past, and have to say this phone is much better.

Screen sensitivity is poor
It's not a bad phone specs wise, but what really let's it down is how much work it is to scroll and move around the screen and to different screens. Your hand literally tires after a couple of minutes! I've taken the screen protector off but it's still cumbersome. And it's a heavy phone, although some might like this feeling more secure.

A few issues - works at times but cannot be relied upon
Had this phone for a few weeks now... my biggest problem is it switches itself to airplane mode on a seemingly random basis, even half way through a call - this is aggravated by the fact that the button to end a call is pretty much impossible not to click if you want to hold the phone like any normal person would... poor ergonomic design, can't be relied upon to stay on and cuts off during calls - other than that it's great

Budget phone
Large screen, expandable RAM and worked on my 4g Smartyk Sim?. Camera wasn't much cop, slow and pictures aren't great but you get what you pay for, only used because my Huawei P30 got lost, so if your looking at this for a newbie or a 1st phone it's good, as a phone that you want to be - 'all singing and dancing' be prepared to start looking at a lot more £££!

No Widgets
Could not add any widgets to the Home Screen, the widget option when touching the screen is just not there. Googled to see if there was a fix or any help and found that it is a known problem that cannot be fixed. So the mobile is being sent back. Pretty useless if you cannot add a widget.
