Finicky, crotchety old man cat loves this!
We’ve purchased 2 of these now. We have an old cat that doesn’t like much. Our cat does love this but not as it’s advertised. He actually prefers this flat with the grey side up. He didn’t care for the super soft side at all. Not quite sure why as it is very soft and would feel like a dream I’m sure. I don’t ask the cat questions though. Just do what he tells me to do. The grey side is smooth and comfy as well and blends with our decor so I don’t so much care how he uses it, just that he does. Spends as much time snuggled up on it as he can. Money well spent in my book.

Makes Friends Out of Enemies
The attached picture is of my two cats--one of whom hates the other. The "other" hasn't quite figured that out though. They love this bed so much that there is often a temporary truce when they are on it, and the kingdom--er, apartment--enjoys a small period of peace. In all seriousness, this is a very soft, furry mat. There is not much cushion to it. Nevertheless, my cats adore it. I got it for my blind, elderly cat, and I don't have to worry about her stumbling off of it. It moves with us depending on where she wants to lay, sometimes on the bed, sometimes on the couch. The price seemed high to me, but for the enjoyment my two beloved cats are getting out of it, I'm happy we paid it.

Have you actually looked at your tutorial video?
There are zero instructions on how to fold this mat into a bed and the video tutorial on the amazon page is hysterical. It's like the draw the owl meme. Step 1: draw two circles, step 2: draw the owl. Is there any place I can learn how to fold this into the bed since that's what I purchased it for?

Works well as a mat for chairs
This works well as a mat for my kitten, who sleeps on chairs. I don’t think it would be great on the ground for an older pet who weighs more; it’s too thin. I washed it once according to directions, and it air dried quickly. My kitten likes to lick the fur-like fabric; it’s very soft. I agree with other reviewers that it’s rather overpriced, and that the button closure system is tough to figure out. In fact, a button fell off 2 weeks after I bought this, and sewing a button onto this type of material is not that easy. Edit: A week after this review, my kitten stopped approaching the bed, and a year later, my new kitten #2 wasn’t into it either. I gave it to a neighbor whose cats like it. My spoiled cats prefer blankets made from natural fibers.

Cat seems to like it
My cat seems to like it, paired it up with the SUNNY SEAT Cat Window Perch, so he has a nice bad that sits on the window. Why 4 stars? doesn't do the "box" shape as well as the pictures show, makes more of a weird hexagon. But the cat sleeps in it every night, sometimes during the day (you know how cats are). It's his defacto safe place if he gets startled. Really soft. seems durable. would buy again and highly recommend. Side note on size: my cat is an average male American short hair, and the bed fits him perfectly, i think even a larger cat would fit just fine - a corgi (dog) would probably be too big (sorry too lazy to measure my cat for this review).

Cat approved
My sweet Margie who was rescued at 4 weeks is now 9 years old. She's very healthy, eats mostly wet food, plays all the time, loves people. She likes making biscuits but since I've recently moved the furniture in our new place is not cat approved. This blanket is good for her to nap and make biscuits whenever she pleases. It's super soft ❤️

Definitely more of a mat, not a bed
Note that the photo was taken the very first day I brought Maya home from the shelter. I put her on it because she was laying in the tub. She never used it after that even though I tried to put it in different places and lured her with treats.I was disappointed because this was so very thin. I think even calling it a “mat” is generous. It’s pretty and the surface material is nice, there’s just no padding whatsoever. I like how it’s convertible (and I found it super easy to convert it), but ultimately I’m confounded by all the great reviews, especially considering the high price.

All of my cats love it
My cats practically fight over this bed! It has gone through the wash several times and comes out looking great! My only complaint is that buttoning up the sides doesn’t really work. It just flops down flat. Otherwise I highly recommend it.
