I really have done the research so you don't have to, this is the best dog harness on Amazon! It is literally the only harness that has everything I was looking for all on ONE harness! I am an experienced seamstress, and I recognize quality products when I see them. It arrived today, my dog has been wearing it all day. So far the fit was correct as far as the measurements that were suggested, so it fits perfectly. He has been quite comfortable in it, and it looks great on him! This is incredibly strong and sturdy. It's clearly been made very well, and the sewing has been done very well, it will definitely stay together through washing/wearing. I have literally searched through every single harness on Amazon trying to find one that has everything I wanted. I am still in awe over how difficult a task that it was! I nearly had given up, till I found this one. First off I needed a good fit for a small dog, something that he could absolutely not escape from! This harness has you covered on that. My dog Odie has a serious problem with pulling with a D ring on his back, so I wanted dual D rings, and they have to be something metallic so they won't tear up or rust. I have to have a good sturdy handle on the back of the harness too. This harness checks all of those boxes. I really wanted one that was going to be simple to put on, bc his last harness was a nightmare for everyone but me to operate. So I wanted to get something that everyone would easily understand. This just slipped over his head and snaps on both sides, extremely easy to operate. What really was so incredibly difficult to find was a harness that wasn't going to have any straps dangling around off of the harness. THIS WAS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! You don't realize that it's that rare of an option until you actually start looking for it. The advertisements for each of the harnesses on here do not make it any easier either! None of them list that information about them in their descriptions, and the majority of the photos, and videos are all taken from the same angles, making it impossible to actually see if they have any loose straps hanging out. The only way that you can even figure out if they're going to have loose straps is to go into the reviews and look at the pictures submitted by customers! It's mind numbing, tedious, and time consuming!!! It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever to buy a harness if it's just going to be chewed on by your dog, bc they made it with straps hanging out from it! Now this harness has everything, and it has a circular design, so NO LOOSE STRAPS!!! Now I will say this, it can be difficult to loosen up the straps on this vest, as the buckles are extremely tight but that's by design. If you do it exactly how they show you to do it, then you would be totally fine. It's supposed to be tight, it's supposed to be incredibly hard to just pull loose, otherwise your dog would pull himself loose. I only bring it up bc I have seen other people's reviews complaining about it, and I feel like if you are thinking about buying this harness, that would be info you should have someone addressing. This harness is absolutely perfect, and it looks amazing on my dog. (I'll try to remember to come back to post a few pictures) It certainly has made me feel secure for my dogs comfort, but also his SAFETY! His ability to slip out of his old harness, as well as him pulling his lead, was the entire reason I was looking for a new harness. Incredibly happy customer, and I will definitely be coming back for other Kurgo products! Hands down this is the type of quality that we all wish for in everything we buy! I feel like a dog person designed this product bc they just couldn't find it anywhere to buy it.

Can't say enough about how pleased I was to finally get a great looking, very well functioning, tough but comfortable for my dog harness that goes on so easy and stays on till I take it off. If your tired of all the hassles of the strap only harnesses and the cheap made ones that don't stay put then this harness is your Cadillac!

I bought 1 Ruffwear & 2 Kurgo harnesses recently for my pup 17/20/32 ( measurements for him) He is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever/Pointer rescue, 74 lbs). Ruffwear wasn't a fit for him at all, gaps, and turned to side. My female lab, who looks completely different but measures similar 17/20/34, got that one and a good fit ffor her. The Kurgo True Fit was awesome (probably best fit for him, but metal adjusters slip. I am constantly adjusting the size to stay snug. They also use smoother webbing, so combined with metal hardware- doesn't stay snug during walks. Too bad because good long fit, and so incredibly easy to put on. A dream. Next-This model was suggested by Kurgo Rep. because adjusters plastic, so thought less slipping would occur. Doesn't seem as long in fit as the true fit, but got it here for the best price, and it fits him. Love this one too, BUT the front leash attachment sits lower than any others we have tried, and puts leash in a awkward place...which is strange. Otherwise, a good fit and not as much slipping. He seems to like it best, and hoping it holds up well. We walk daily and harness a must with him. He prefers his martingale, but he likes to pull at times, so harness safest on his neck. It is sharp looking on him, and seems well made. We have had many harnesses, and Kurgo is our favorite so far. Just hoping it holds up. Buckles are so easy to release, yet he feels secure with this harness on. Really like Kurgo quality. Purchased orange due to price and visibility. Hoping this color doesn't look dirty after long term use. That tends to happen with lighter color items for my pups. Kurgo customer service is awesome too. Would buy their products again. Just please fix the shiny webbing and metal hardware, to prevent slipping. If did your harnesses would be perfect!

Great fit, very adjustable. 2nd one.The plastic clips are fragile and can break easily so just be careful while inserting the pronged end.

This is a must have for the active dog owner. I have five dogs and they love the harness. We go for runs, hikes and they jump in the water made with rip stop. Have had no rips in any of the harnesses. They come on little coat hangers too. The handle is great too!

We tried a few sizes and different Kurtz models for our three dogs, 65-70 lbs, and we decided we like these best. I was originally interested in the crash tested seat belt model, but after considering that we can’t belt three big dogs in the back seat (we need a car cabin divider to keep them in back), I opted for the light weigh model. I like that I can attach the leash at chest or back depending on whether I need to reduce pulling when I walk all three dogs at once. We definitely needed large for all dogs, though their adjustments vary a lot for their different chest sizes. I definitely prefer the ease of and over the head and single buckle harness, but they don’t come with rear and front D rings. So the compromise is two side buckles on this model. Our dogs seem to be comfortable and so far they seem sturdy. I’m worried that the front d ring won’t hold and our strongest puller, but we have to see how it goes. I compared this to rufwear harnesses and these are definitely softer and more pliable, so I assume they are also more comfortable on our dogs.

It’s crazy a crazy big jump from a Small to a Medium. They need a mid-size option. It works as expected but it a bit hard to get to my dog’s size. He’s too big for the small but this medium is huge.

The Kurgo Journey Air harness is sturdy, well made, and of quality materials. It is attractive and I like the adjustability. The only issue I have is that my 10lb rescue Yorkie wants nothing to do with it. His nickname is 'Shredder' and not because he likes to shred toys 🤕. Treats don't work because he is territorial aggressive with food & toys. This was my last hope for an escape proof harness for this little Houdini dog. Am hoping that he'll eventually let me put it on him. For those who are considering it, the harness is worth the price. Afterall, it's a Kurgo!

As with the Kurgo harness I had for my smaller Lab girl, this harness is beautifully made - strong, durable fabric & hardware that allowed me to adjust the straps for a perfect fit & most importantly, my girl was instantly comfortable in it! We walk 2 straight hours every day, so a bonus was that the leash clip on the chest plate worked great as a pulling deterrent! Super pleased with this purchase!!! Kurgo products are by far second to none!!!
