The Bosch part had "OE Type Fitment," meaning the connector was identical to the one Toyota installed when the car was manufactured; that actually allowed the old part to be removed from its wiring harness WITHOUT using the slot in the special socket (through which you can pass the wires), so the old one could have been removed with an ordinary closed 7/8" socket. Bosch made the wires reinforced for strain relief at the sensor end and also made the whole "pigtail" about 2" longer than the original one, which was of tremendous help and convenience in replacing it in tight quarters in the vehicle. AFTER INSTALLING THE NEW PART, you WILL need to connect an OBDII tool and "erase" the error message in the car's computer that is held from the old, failed sensor; THEN you can turn the car off and back on again. Check engine light does NOT come back on, because the new sensor functions perfectly. VERY SATISFIED WITH THIS PART AND ITS QUALITY. You can replace this yourself FAR cheaper than taking it to a dealer or repair shop. Now the mixture is correct and the car doesn't smell of burning too rich, and I no longer waste gas or pollute.
