7 Inch Clone Dome - 5 Pack Humidity Vented Domes - Plant Growing

These domes are good quality: sturdy and well-ventilated. They fit the trays offered by the same supplier. I had to order the trays separately. The supplier should offer the tray-and-dome combination for convenience and at a favorable price.

I'm very happy with the quality of these domes. They are quite sturdy and the height is AWESOME. One was missing from the pack, but customer service was awesome and is sending me a replacement without a hitch. Now I get to stand back and watch my babies GROW, BABIES, GROW!

A first they seemed a little flimsy, but these trays hold 15 of some larger 4" square pots that I was having trouble fitting into a different style of 1020 trays. So I will purchase more for the 4" square pots.

These are like the ones I got years ago. I'm a microgreen grower for family consumption, and grow 4-6 standard full trays a week. I use them to keep the more delicate micros moist & humidified overnight when LED grow panels are off; reducing evaporation and humidifies growing plants overnight (replicating morning dew conditions). These newer ones are almost exactly like last gen (which have lasted for 5-6 years of daily use); only one minor irritant is that they've deeply embossed their logo on the sides, which make it a little more cumbersome to wipe the condensation off the insides when they are removed for maximum LED lamp exposure during the daytime frow cycle... I may be nit picky here, as if I didn't have the earlier non logo embossed ones to compare to. The only ones from ealier batch that seem to ultimately fail had cracked a the bottom corners from picking them up/off by the bottoms, and not from mold formed handle at top (I don't have enuff height to do so with LED lamp modules above). I was skotch taping the cracks, to extend use life; but enuff of units cracked iit was time too replace them, esp with Amazon selling them 6 packs for reasonable price. I also use them to bulk up veggie seedlings for my wifes garden, as we're in northern grow conditions, and every week of protected growth assures survival from garden varmits before fruiting enough to share with local fauna. Great product.

They are very thin so you have to be careful of the amount of stuff with weight that goes in it to grow your seedlings

These trays ended up being a no for me. They are standard 1020 trays, which is the main upside, but they are extremely thin and flimsy. I had issues with them bending, dropping things, and generally not feeling stable enough when moving seedlings or supplies around. To make them useful, I often had to double or even triple them up. In several cases, I ended up moving plants or materials into better-quality trays because these just did not hold up well enough. They may work for very light-duty use, but I would not recommend them for seed starting or anything that needs regular moving, carrying, or watering. I would spend a little more on sturdier trays next time.

These propagation domes are reasonably sturdy and function well overall. My only issue is that condensation tends to leak out at the point where the dome meets the lower tray. A simple redesign could address this: if the dome (top) were molded so that the clear plastic extended slightly below the lip where it meets the bottom tray, any condensation would drip back into the tray rather than running out onto the work surface.

Very good deal for the price. Use them all the time.
