Boring boring boring
This book was super dull. The heroine was particularly boring but I guess if you've lived your whole life secluded away it makes sense. The story was unbelievable. The author tried to make the hero this strong alpha male who is super over protective of his young scarred daughter yet he hires the heroine to be his daughter's nanny without a resume ! She just happens to be there outside his office and he mistakenly (???) hires her on the spot and whisks her off to have supervision over his beloved child??? Ummm, but wait, he never ever follows up to get her resume , verify her references nothing but proceeds to leave his kid in the hands of a complete stranger....ummm it made it hard for me to take this story seriously , especially as a mother . Plus like I mentioned the heroine is super boring as is the love story . I'm supposed to believe they fell in love in a handful of encounters ? I guess there is love at first sight but this couple 's love is hard to get into, there is no dialogue or exchanges either written or suggested to make you feel any depth to their relationship. The end is also very abrupt. Seems the author was more interested in setting up the next story in this series with the upcoming hero. I was bored but bought this book for its great reviews which I now see I have way different standards then the other readers. Been reading romance since I was 15 yrs old and can't standsuch gaps in a plot.

Not as good
I love the DiSione stories, well except for one, and I like Greek heroes but for some reason this one was just so so. I did love the daughter. I felt for her. But the chemistry was just not there.

Loved this one
I have a real thing for a Greek hero and especially one who is scared and Talia is just what he needs to bring him back and back to his daughter after a fire that caused physical as well as emotional damage and of course bring the feisty Talia out of her comfort zone as well. You see portrait artist Talia Di Sione is on a mission for her beloved grandfather to find another of his mistresses a book of poems and Talia has tracked it to Greek billionaire Angelos Menas, Talia has not left her grandfather's estate for many years and this is going to be hard but Talia is nothing if not determined to get this book little does she realise that her life is about to change in such a good way when they first meet the sparks fly and Talia ends up being Nanny to Angelos's daughter Sofia.Angelos Menas is a self made billionaire he comes from the streets and works hard after the fire that took is wife away and scared his beautiful daughter Angelos keeps to himself setting Sofia up on his island of Kallos not wanting to get too close to her, so when he is trying to find a new nanny and Talia turns up he is compelled to hire her there is a feeling that he has not had in a long time.I loved this story Talia is so knowledgeable for someone so innocent who has been through so much herself but she is like a spitfire when she meets Sofia and realizes that they have so much in common and is like a dog with a bone getting Angelos to connect with his daughter again and falling more in love with him as she comes out of her comfort zone. I am loving this series and Talia and Angelos have such a sensual and angsty journey to a beautiful HEA.

Powerful!
4 1/2 STARS!An emotional journey of healing for 3 scarred souls!Natalia Di Sione has rarely left her home in 7 years. She stays behind the walls, away from people .. where she's safe. That changes however, when she can't deny the grandfather she adores his request that she go on a journey to find a prized book that he lost along the way, and sets out for Greece.Angelos Menas assumes the bedraggled woman insisting on a meeting with him is there to apply for the temporary nanny position. Natalia can't figure out how to approach this gruff man about the book, so she goes along with his assumption and lands the job. Both Angelos and his daughter are still carrying scars from the fire that killed his wife several years ago. Talia has her own trauma that she's trying to live with. Will these three be able to help each other heal? And when it's time for her to go home, will she leave her heart there on the island?

A Di stone For the Greeks Pleasure by Katie Hewitt a nice fun read.
Natalia is sent by her grandfather to find a book. after researching online she finds who she thinks has it and tries to set up a meeting with Angelos. She is mistaken for an applicant applying for the job of nanny for his daughter. She gets Sofia to open up and get out of her shell. She starts trying to learn greek since it is the main language that Sofia knows. She gets Angelos to spend more time with Sofia and Natalia and Angelos fall in love. But when he finds out that she had really been looking for the book that day in his office. Natalia returns home and Angelos follows a few weeks later to bring her the book and to ask her to forgive him and to return the Greece with him.I really enjoyed the book and think if you like a good fun romance then this book is for you.

Should be easy go find him ask for the book and bring ...
In this book in the Di Sione series its Natalia's who is asked by her grandfather to find one of his "lost mistresses". This time it is a book of poems which is searches for and finds they belong to Angelos Menas. Should be easy go find him ask for the book and bring to back to her ill grandfather who she loves more than anything on earth. Problem is she is claustrophobic and has not left the island for years. She paints portraits for a living but in her studio on the island. Fear keeps her there but love for her grandfather gives her the courage to leave and find his book. She meet Angelos Menas and by a lie of omission procures a job as nanny for his daughter. Two people with secrets and fears meet and from there your in for an amazing story of love and courage by Kate Hewitt. A story not to be missed.

Utterly unconvincing
Just wasted another £2.99 Slightly one dimensional characters or is it just that in the story, which is passably ok, the characters just never really seem to connect. Just couldn't "feel" the book at all .ut

Great
A must read feel good book although there are a couple of teary moments. I would recommend that you read this Series in order but it isn't completely necessary. The only very picky criticism is that I would've liked an Epilogue.
