I love this knife set sooo much! As a chef/mom of a special needs child not only is the beautiful to look at but it also stores the knives safely! And don't get me started on the price!

I really like this set it is very nice, blades are sharp and the knives are not heavy but after 8 months of using them (I do cook daily) the coat is peeling off on the knives that I use the most and the chef knife broke in two, the blade fully came off from the handle, it looks like it broke inside the handle And it doesn’t go back in. The santoku knife another one I use often, feels loose between the blade and handle. I don’t think I would buy it again. It was good while it lasted.

Kotlie offers a quality set of knives for less than $50. I think this set is perfect for anyone who is starting off with a new kitchen. That being said, I bought this to replace my current knife set because I had a good experience with Kotlie's kitchen scale.These Kotlie knives are well made with high caliber stainless steel. The blades are extremely sharp and ready to use right out of the box. I tested the chef knife on Japanese pumpkin and it cut very smooth with clean motion. That was impressive. After extensive usage for almost a month, the blades are still sharp and there are no signs of rust.The worst part of this set is actually the acrylic holding block. It doesn't match the quality of these knives, I so used the current wooden block I already had.

I don't cook a lot, so im not getting into robustness details here. I basically bought this set because it's on my budget and still looks nice. Coat fell off quite soon of the knives i use the most. Meh. I wouldn't purchase again.

Worth the money. My boyfriend is a chef and I noticed he needed a knife set for his at home cooking. He loved it and uses it everyday. The sharpening tool was a great addition to the set. He uses it to sharpen some of his other knives

I think these knives are a steal for the price. They look great on the counter and are nice and sharp and come with an assortment of almost every knife that you will need on a regular basis.

These knives are sharp! I purchased these and have used them throughout Christmas, they cut through turkey with ease (although it was cooked to perfection I don't mind mentioning!) and in the evening it cut through tomatoes and felt like tge skins weren't even on them, I usually find if knives aren't really sharp trying to pierce tomato skins and cutting good slices can be problematic. These knives even made light work of tge kids dolly boxes this Christmas, cutting through the plastic boxes and fixings with ease, I know this is not what the knives are for but they made Christmas dolly unwrapping really easy, I do wish they would stop using so much plastic on the dolly boxes.The storage block is hollow metal with plastic round the knife slots, it holds the knives nicely and looks nice too. All 5 knives cut beautifly and I would certainly recommend them. I have only had them 2.5 weeks so longevity I am not sure about, but if you look after them (don't put them in the dishwasher, these types of knives should always be hand washed) and use a good sharpner when they start getting a little blunt these knives should be great for a number of years.
