This works like one should expect - will tune quickly and precisely on a dark stage with an acoustic or electric guitar. It is very compact and seems to be well built. I initially wanted a version with a replaceable battery but am warming to idea of having a charging cable. I'm comfortable with the price - but would prefer to be able to buy several instead of choosing to make do with one.

I have purchased several of these tuners (one for each guitar) and I have only had a problem with one of them. it wouldn't power up. I contacted D'Aderio and they sent me a replacement. I couldn't be more satisfied with a product. I love the fact that they are rechargeable because batteries only choose to fail when you need them most. But if you use more than one guitar you can recharge the tuner alternating between instruments, doing it early, and always have a backup tuner thereby, avoiding the end of battery life problem.

I use these exclusively for bass. I have two sets so i can a have a back up. They work great and are very convenient. Excellent precision, even when the stage sound is on or others are sound checking. The price is reasonable too, but the 4 stars is for the battery life. I can use them for 10 minutes, then pack them away, and the next time i pull them out the battery is on orange/yellow. I would still recommend, and they have worked great, just wish the battery didn’t seem like it’s always low.

I have several other clip on tuners and I always have to buy batteries for them . Well enough of that . This tuner is fast, accurate and compact and rechargeable which is awesome !! I use drop tunings for the material I write and play and this tuner calibrates and remembers your last setting . This tuner is extremely well built . I can't say enough about how impressed I am with it's performance . Bright screen as well !! 5 stars easily !!!

Amazing accurate tuner and very responsive. From the pictures and listings it does not look and say it’s usb C but the one I received is, was very happy to find that out. Good thing they update their products with the times, they should update the description for buyers so they are aware. This has the newest charging usb C port. I had a lot of trouble finding usb c port guitar tuners online, it was a happy surprise. This thing is also tiny, smaller than expected. The dial is a bit bigger than a Hershey’s kiss.

The media could not be loaded. I had given up on using clip on tuners. After many that broke or started to malfunction I tried the Ssllretu rechargeable clip. After about 4 months it stopped working accurately and would constantly need calibrating. The old tuner has a function to adjust the pitch that I believe is faulty.After 2 years I wanted to see if clip on tuners had improved. I almost didn't buy the D'Addario because it was so affordable. So far is seems to be a higher quality and it fits some of my other guitars better. You can see in the video exactly how far off the old tuner gets compared to the new one. So far I'm very happy with it. It's light weight but doesn't feel fragile.
